Kron Gracie

Lets just wait and see if he can get past the most dangerous and lethal Alec Caceres before we start handing out belts.

Kron is legit!
But i watched his recent interviews....he sounds a little bit cocky. could be his downfall...

Oh he's a flat earther?

He needs to become more well rounded

Kron is the most beautiful man to ever grace the MMA world and i was a fan.
But after reading a recent interview wherein he - needlessly and shamelessly - disses the ever cool and lovable Alex Cacares, i had to clutch my pearls and tut. Much dismay. Now i sincerely hope Alex wrecks Kron's pretty face.

He's a Disgracie, being a scumbag is in his blood. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

But...but...he's so pretty!
Jk, you could well be right. We'll see how he conducts himself in the octagon but so far it's not looking like he's going to buck the trend and become the graceful Gracie :(

MAGA was really the best name you could think of, and you decided to reference Rickson’s ridiculous claim in your OP?

The only legit title challenger Gracie is Neiman.

Kron is definitely full of himself. But can't blame him growing up touted to be the next God of BJJ since day 1. Could've been way worse.

Kron hasnt impressed me at all and his sub wins were thanks to the 10 min rounds and the forearm push on the bose to lift the chin for his signature rear naked choke is meh

His ass pulling guard in ufc thats full of ncaa wrestlers good luck hel get stood up every 30 seconds..

Ufc is not juijitsu freindly anymore..

He wont be able to pull shit off wont have the time and will lose for being on his back most of the time..

And the ufc gifted him a seriouse bum for his debut that was nice the guys ben submitted over and over kron should be able to beat him..

But ufc will baby this guy and try n get him in the top 10 asap. Dont see him going any higher though unless he can strike like diaz.

haters gonna hate but Kron is legit. His BJJ is up there in the rarefied air of truly elite practitioners. He runs triathlons with Nate Diaz and has cardio for days.

People claiming he needs 10 minute rounds to win are basing this solely on the Hideo Totoro fight, all his other wins came within 5 minutes.

We already know he can hang with UFC level opponents because he dominated Kawajiri. In that fight he got soccer kicked in the head and took it like it was nothing, he’s got a chin.

People talking about his takes downs, meh. That’s not really how Kron fights. Look at his previous fights, he’s gonna look to get on the inside, get a wizard and trip you, or pull guard from there. Caceres with his high center of gravity is a perfect target for this, I don’t think he can stay upright long enough to win this fight. I like Alex, but I’m picking Kron tonight.

The Diaz bros vouch for him, and have been regularly training with him since years.

I think his striking will be much better than everyone expects.

Would be funny as fuck if Caceres decisions him, which is actually quite possible. Gracie better hope he has something resembling wrestling or striking.

@TapMachine made a thread about how Maia had focused on his ability to take guys down in MMA so he could use his bjj, and that's why he's had success.

Kron should take a good long look at Maia (and Jacare) and focus on chain wrestling and alternative ways to get fights to the ground. World class level bjj is only valuable if you A) Have legit TD's or B) have good striking. Kron isn't gonna make his striking any more than average at best, so he should focus on TD's.

That said, he probably subs Caceras in rd 1. Alex has given up his back way too easily and often in his career to think he avoids it here.
