I feel sorry for the guy that made these videos.

Kron doesn't need to be tall and skinny to train with 209 and be successful, ask Gilbert and Shields. Kron brings his own unique talent to the game and will benefit from training with the extremely experienced, talented and tough Diaz bros.
I’m a Kron fan and have been since he was a purple belt. That said, yes he’s making great strides from training with the 209 since many years ago, I feel his potential would have been fully realized at a camp that has a strong folk wrestling core and Muay Thai curriculum. I know Kron trains at Gilbert’s gym in SF for variety and brings in people at Culver but still...
I think your gyms "style" is less important than the work ethic and attitude, and I think the culture at 209 gyms suits Kron.I’m a Kron fan and have been since he was a purple belt. Amen to that. Kron training with the Diaz bros is the reason why I think he will not go far in MMA and the reason why it's retarded to compare Kron to Maia - someone who has actually realized how important wrestling is in MMA and made a tremendous and commendable effort to catch up with wrestling based fighters in that department while retaining his BJJ oriented fighting style. Kron has yet to realize how important wrestling is and he's in for a rude and bloody awakening once he fights someone with good TDD and decent hands.

the 400-0 myth is goofy as shit. stop already. Kron? crazy good bjj. duh.. stand up? rather mediocre at this point. never a future champ. his record is completely dictated on who they match him up with and their strong/week points.
Chad is retired, they should book Kron against Volkanovski aka the man who stuffed and outmuscled Chad while outstriking him on the feet 2 to 1.They should put him against Chad Mendes next.
That would be a great fight.
There are many “unexplored” ideas on using BJJ in MMA.
Ryan Hall has shown a couple of great ideas in his past two wins against legendary opponents.
Kron did the same, he took his opponent’s back from the clinch rather than struggle for a TD.
BJJ doesn’t have to revolve around a TD or TDD. We will hopefully see new ways of using it, despite the Unified Rules’s bias against it.
