Kron Gracie

LOL

Because he's the son of a guy who falsely claims to be 400-0, you assume he'll be a champion in the UFC???

LOL!!!!

Please share with me your future bet slips, so I can place all opposite wagers.

Just noted your idiotic account name. Everything checks out now.

What is your problem with Rickson? He truly was an amazing example of the mastery one can achieve in a single martial art. He was also doing it in a time where people only practiced one art.

I agree that it doesn't mean Kron will achieve the highest level, but it's a great base.

I suspect they matched him against Cecares because he's susceptible to subs
hope Alex knocks him out

How much better than Ortega can he be? I see them having similar styles. Ortega climbed the ranks pretty quickly with a strong bjj game and boxing. I just don't see his striking being that good and still Ortegas striking wasn't good enough.

It would be absolutely incredible if he can win the title at FW but damn it's a tough division

He’s more credentialed in tournament competition but that doesn’t necessarily translate to highlight reel submissions in MMA. Ortega, Charles Oliveira and Shinya Aoki employ blitzkrieg attacks while Demian Maia and Roger Gracie utilize deliberate stepwise submission approaches. Kron is a badass on the mat but I wouldn’t expect him to replicate Oliveira’s absurdly high submission finish rates.

uhhh i think it's a little late for him to be UFC champ

unless dana really pushes him forward

edit: actually idk. he might be champ, but it's too early to talk about that rn

Too late, too early, make up your fucking mind before you post. At least research who is being discussed further than thinking the pic in the first post is a scene from the Hulk.

I doubt he'll go too far, he seems to be making some good money off his school so he is not going to be as hungry as some of the other fighters, meaning he won't put as much time as he should in his striking and wrestling training.

Kron is legit. Idk about UFC gold, but along with Roger he is one of the Gracies with the best grappling creds today.

If any Gracie can get UFC gold it’s either him or Neiman,

<seedat>
Roger is not only one of the best Gracies, he is the best bjj practitioner ever, periode.

He's 4-0, his old man was 400-0, will Kron become the first Gracie to win a UFC title?

Considering who he learned from, it'd be incredibly disappointing if Kron is not a future UFC champion

he'd flop into guard the first time he got punched. we'd spend the next 2 minutes, waiting for Herb Dean to stand him up.

Royce was the last Gracie worthy of the octagon.

oh fuck off fanboy i wasn't talking about the same thing lol

when i said too late i was saying kron's mma debut was too late

when i said too early i was saying that because it's his debut, it's also too early to say he'll be a champion or not.

I don't have a problem with Rickson. Well, he seems like a complete douche, but that isn't relevent here. My point is that being his son doesn't mean jack shit. Bring the son of a self made great in some discipline doesn't mean you're going to surpass his success. That's ridiculous, juvenile thinking. There is no one path, so I can only laugh at TS' comment that it would be "surprising" if he didn't become UFC champion. There would be nothing surprising about it.

I know, just drunk at Island Wings and feeling frisky....lol

kron already is a better grappler than his father ever was.

if he is dedicated he can go far.

I like him a lot since he is also a man who understands he lives on a flat motionless earth

Name me someone not in the Gracie family who has submitted Rickson. I’ll wait.

I was a huge fan of Melvin Guillard and think he would have been LW GOAT if he’d trained with Roger. Would have been a level of MMA you can’t even fathom.

I agree, I like your analysis. Oliveira has some striking prowess.
