I was cautiously optimistic when I saw the first trailer for Venom and while I didn't think it was perfect, I found it alright mainly due to Tom Hardy but the 2nd movie was a massive disappointment for me and I haven't even seen the 3rd one yet.

Some characters, even very popular ones just don't have what it takes to carry a franchise. Venom is a very thin character without Spiderman, so when you couple that with Sony's incompetence its a miracle they were able to suck 3 movies out of him.

That's it! Thank you for the correction. She was spear heading that god-awful Ghostbusters movie from 2016 and I don't think her production company has done anything since. She just went back to leeching off Marvel.

I lol'd @ "his puny voice" so funny and accurate.

Forgot to mention this and I just inserted this in the review but it's funny that teen Kraven has a deeper voice than full adult Kraven (Aaron Taylor-Johnson). It's like the magic potion/lion's blood enhanced everything about Kraven but ruined his voice.

I knew this movie was going to be a dumpster fire ever since the first trailer showed Kraven getting his powers from Magic Lion's Blood.

A strong cast of talented actors, one of the coolest of Spider-Man's Big Bad's, and Sony still manage to fumble the ball. SMH.
