Haven't seen the show really. I only remember watching a few clips of the show years ago which had Taeyeon in it.

Hahaha, it was pretty entertaining although majority of it are meh. They did Taeyeon dirty pairing her with old comedian.

I've been an SNSD fan for 15 years but I never knew there's a song mentioning all the member's name in the lyrics.



This is captivating, lol. I think this was released 12 years ago, but there was no youtube or smartphones back then to get inside scoop and listen to unreleased tracks/videos.... "Taeyeon, Jessica, Tiffany, Sunny, Yuri, Hyoyeon, Seohyun-nie, Sooyoung-ie wa Yoona." :)

TVXQ is really good, one of 3 male groups I listen to. Their Japanese songs are better than Korean ones.

I cane across Blackpink, and k pop ingeneral, last year and was blownaway by their catalogue. It seemed like everything they did just...worked. I might have stanned out a bit which Im way too old to be doing lol. But this recent comeback just hasn't very good. Its too much overtly hip hopish, boss b energy ontop of being very formulaic and not very creative. No growth at all. The girls might be simply getting too 'grown' and seem to have lost that youthful free energy they seemed to have in the past. Also, they simply don't have bodies to be trying to twerk and what not. Looks sad.

Oh well. All boy/girl groups eventually outgrow themselves after 5 or 6 years. But it definitely seemed like a really great run which is all you can ask for.

Kpop is just isn't in the prime anymore bro. Now every group is making generic pop songs. KPOP used to be more like JPOP and Chinese Pop rather than hip hop and club music like it is nowadays.
 
Idk if anyone is familiar with Punch. She is a solo singer, and mainly make songs as an OSTs for Dramas. She has a really good husky and calming voice. She just realeased a new song last month.

BP has stagnated so hard. I never really get the sense from them that they actually enjoy their own music (or even have any agency over it) so I can't say I'm shocked but yeah their recent comeback is so bad. I don't even mind them sticking to the trap-pop girlboss sound but at least get some tracks with some western producers and not Teddy's bum-ass recycling old 2NE1 concepts lol

I really don't understand. These newer gen groups can make cutesy song and heartbreak ballads when they make it for Kdrama OST, but they never make it for their mainstream albums lol.


Edit: Seems like they just cover it. The song originally made by Melomance, an indie male Korean duo
