Kobe vs Pippen. Who was the better sidekick.

From 05-07, Kobe led his team to records of 34-48, 45-37, and 42-40, missing the playoffs the first year, and getting bounced in the 1st round the following two.

In the 93-94, without Jordan, Pippen led the Bulls to a 55-27 record, and lost in the 2nd round in 7 games to the eventual unofficial NBA Champion Knicks.

Kobe has the better offensive skill-set, and that's about it. He took way more shots (while being less efficient), and that's what led to his scoring numbers.

Pippen was a better leader, a better teammate, a significantly better rebounder, a better passer with significantly better court vision, and a significantly better defender. That's quite a bit more that Pips had going for him.

Pippen was the better overall player.

Pippen was the better sidekick, clearly, and was arguably a better #1 option with no help as well.
 
Kobe clearly loses this simply by virtue of dismantling championship franchises with his ego and selfishness. What kind of robin runs batman out of town just to lose for like 5 years straight.

well the question was "who was the better sidekick" period. It never elaborated. but i think the fact that one of the sidekicks was able to win multiple rings without the "star" while the other was not is a huge part of arguing who was the better sidekick.

All criminal charges dropped. The sloot had no case, that much was obvious. She should have gotten 25-life for those false accusations, but the one true just wanted it all to go away so he paid the sloot to make the whole thing disappear. The civil litigation could have gone on for years and years. This is one of the perks of being rich. You can pay to make your problems go away.

The one true is UNEQUIVOCALLY the better offensive and defensive player. Pippen isn't in the same dimension. Pippen resides in the Melo/LeJuice tier, far below the one true/ Jordan tier.

Kobe was obviously the better player. Lol at Kobe only scoring more because he took way more shots. Kobe has a sig edge is ts% for his career over Scottie.
 
Shaq was finals MVP, but in many of the series the best teams they played were in the west, and Kobe was often the best player in the series. Shaq had the match ups in the finals, but Kobe was big against sac, SA, Portland.

Dallas wasn't some can team either, going 4-2 (Portland), 4-0 (Lolkers), and 4-1(OKC) during their playoff run that year.
