Only because he said he would do it. When Linkeker pulled out he immediately challenged Rivera. Now if Jimmie has already given up ten poinds and he still says no, it does make Marlon look bad for saying he would then not doing it.

I may be in the unpopular minority here, but I don't think there's anything wrong with wanting to fight at your optimum weight when you're out-of-camp and offering to take a fight on a week's notice. If he'd said something like "anytime, anyplace" then making weigh-in demands would've been silly, but from what I've seen it was pretty basic. It probably would have been better etiquette to say what weight he was willing to make in the initial callout, but he probably wanted to keep that hidden to have some bargaining room during the negotiations.

It's a bad look to be demanding a fight if you can't even get within 10 lbs of it. Moraes went from hero to clown in the span of a couple hours. Awful way to promote his career.

Yall can put the blame on his manager Ali but Marlon was on video talking **** about Rivera even though Rivera conceded with no push back all of his demands. Marlon is full of it.
