Kid Yamamoto did it better. Jorge should take notes.

Nope.

KY’s punch after was actually necessary while Jorge’s were... super necessary.

Masvidal did it to a top guy though, not a can. And Masvidal was able to win a lot of fights in the UFC while Yamamoto couldn't win one.

Miyata most definitely isn't or wasn't a can you dumb bitch

And only a halfhearted follow up with no mockery afterwards.

tbf Mas really did it in 2-3 seconds... The ref is the reason it's 5.

Even Dana White said that in an interview with BBC Sports or one of those limey networks. That the referee was just slow everyone knew Askren was out in 2 seconds. This thread is trash lol.

UFC didnt have USADA when Kid came to the U.S.......

You do realize there was drug testing before USADA, right?

Why does it seem like everyone thinks USADA was the beginning of drug testing in the UFC? It was easier to get away with juicing before the more stringent USADA testing, but people still got popped all the time.

And yet if you were to ask any knowledgeable MMA fan who's the bigger legend between Masvidal and Kid, they'd answer Kid.

I’ve been around for ages, and have a tremendous amount of respect for Kid and have stayed up til 5am to watch his fights live....

But do not disrespect Jorge’s resume. He’s been in the game for a loooong time. He’s a legend himself and will have a bigger legacy than Kid.

lol at comparing a flying knee done by an undefeated fighter at the time vs a guy who was 2-3 professionally to Jorge landing it on Askren

Mas did it better.

I never said they never drug tested before.

But basically everyone in the UFC back then was on steroids.
