Media Khazmat Looking Like a Damn UNIT

still not convinced after the Burns & Usman fight

he has holes in his game, he is not what he pretend to be

he is facing the biggest test in a long time
a dangerous strong 185 former champion

Wait and see

When he smashes whitaker they can not deny the title shot one more time
Obviously. Dana White has already said the winner of this fight gets the next title shot after Adesanya. Hopefully Adesanya gets his shit together and fights at UFC 305. Apparently some girl broke up with and now he's all "boo hoo, poor me". I'm not joking.

The hate for him is weird.

Guy beat Usman and Burns, and people talk about him like his hype train got derailed.

You can make excuses, but in both UFC fights that went past 1rd, he faded hard and looked spent after 3rds. Had those fights went past 3rds, he was looking very, very beatable.
I don't care how well Khazmat does / doesn't do. So, making excuses does nothing for me.

It's just a matter of framing these things intelligently.

Fighting a wrestler, grinder, someone who's known to make you work, put the pace on you and outlast you, is a silly thing not to acknowledge when analyzing a short notice fight.

The idea that Khazmat was super gassed in the Burns fight is massively overstated and I think you need to go back and watch it again. He literally threw punches at a high pace up until the final bell. Was maybe a little slower in the third, but they were basically sprinting for 15 minutes. Wasnt breathing heavy or anything, body language, technique, defense, he looked fine, just slightly slower than the first. Burns was the one who gassed, even the commentators said it.

If the Usman fight went 5 rounds, then you'd see a Khazmat who prepared for 5 rounds. Not 3. Along with specific preparation for Usmans greatest attributes.

If Usman had 2 more rounds THAT night, then I'd agree. Could be rough.

But, I don't see that fight going well for him if Khazmat actually prepares for him specifically. His best chance was catching him off gaurd that night.

People are entitled to believe what they want. But not factoring that into the equation is just bad analysis.

that doesn’t even look good or impressive. he just looks like a guy from a documentary called “steroid addiction ruined my internal organs”

dude's got one round before he's mediocre. he needs help from ali debabaliaaiziz and islam's camp.

Lmao based on what? Your nuthuggery? Conor has a better gas tank ffs.
Thinking really is a lost art, isn't it.

I guess that's why some people see things in this sport

While others never do

A lot of stars have comeups like that

OMalley, Izzy, Conor. There's a long list in MMA and boxing. People who are polarizing or show too much confidence and you get insecure fans start to pray on their downfall.

If they lose once, insane mental gymnastics take place about how It somehow proves they were never that good and more.

Certain figures will never have their skillset analyzed objectively, because they'll always be framed under this weird "I can't wait till he loses" type energy.

Lol, some things never change. I've seen this same cycle happen so many times that I'm immune to it.

4/10 Mid fighter, average skill. Won't watch
