Should be Max vs Katar isnt it ,with like 579 total countKhamzat broke the record with 529 strikes landed. Granted most of those were more like meat tenderising punches to DDPs head but still, DDP is going to be feeling that all over tomorrow. Probably the most bruised up he's ever felt.
Dude. It's a new narrative for a reason. Guy goes from steamrolling and "smeshing" opponents to making virtually no attempts to finish or create any damageFunny watching the mental gymnastics here. I like the new narrative that Khamzat is so boring. Probably from the same people who were saying how he spends his energy too quick and that was his biggest flaw.
Khamzat clearly will never win fans over. 1st round finishes or decisions. Nevermind their fighter didn't fight the whole fight.
What style? He didn’t LNP. He was never in his guard. He passed guard non stop, and looked to finish. Give DDP some credit. Not every fight has a finish, not every fight is a barn burner. Poatan vs. Jan was a boring as fuck stalemate standing, but no one is gonna call Poatan boring. I bet if I searched your post history, you were rooting against Khamzat from the jump lmaoGood thing they went to Paramount, with the biggest star being a muslim Phil Davis. Bro is not selling 50k PPVs with this style.
No, that's just your frustration speaking because you didn't want him to win.Dude. It's a new narrative for a reason. Guy goes from steamrolling and "smeshing" opponents to making virtually no attempts to finish or create any damage
He barely did any damage. Your making my point. Dricus didnt even have the ability to defend and Khamzat STILL didnt apply any real pressure or sense of urgency. No, that's just your frustration speaking because you didn't want him to win.
I know what it's like when a fighter you're rooting for gets dominated, it's frustrating.
He had dominant positions in every round and did damage and there was always a sense of danger, with him threatening a choke or threatening to put hooks in, and also dragging Dricus back down at will.
If Dricus had taken a bit more risks too, when he was down several rounds, we might have had more excitement.
He obviously needed to be careful with his scrambles/attempted getups, but at some point he needed to take more risks.
He was a bit too happy turtling and waiting for Khamzat to gas out and/or Goddard to stand them up.
Little bit disappointed by the lack of elbows from the crucifix position, though.
He applied pressure for about 90%+ of the fight, positions got stalled sometimes due to Dricus not wanting to take a risk to explode to get up or create a scramble, since Khamzat usually won those exchanges (except for a couple of situations in round 5).He barely did any damage. Your making my point. Dricus didnt even have the ability to defend and Khamzat STILL didnt apply any real pressure or sense of urgency.
And there wasn't always a sense of danger lol come on. Your just being a massive Homer. Khamzat giving dricus half ass knees from behind for 45 seconds isn't a sense of danger.
