Aside from religious reasons, I think there's a reason he grows that neckbeard so long. It acts as a placebo because his jaw may very well be shaky, from what we've seen in his fights.

Burns, a LW, wobbled then dropped him at the end of Rd 2 which forced a panic shot.

He looked to be getting stung at the end of Rd 3 by no-knees Usman on short notice but nothing landed super clean before the round ended.

DDP rocked him badly with the only punch he landed all night, which forced more panic wrestling and a failed takedown out of Khamzat.

Khamzat likes to fight risk free ever since that Burns fight where his Coach shouted at him.

He will only strike with you if he deems you are non-factor standing nor carry any threat standing. Khamzat is still very dangerous standing if he lands a right hand it could be over

Chimaev has arguably the most legendary fighting style in UFC history.. The legendary Khamzat blitz will go down in UFC hall of fame period. Forget about a fight or the fighter himself but His fight style itself.

There is nothing more exciting then a Khamzat 1st round in the UFC today or in the past.

That's why he trained with Strickland for so long

He has a long neck, which isn't an indicator for a strong chin.
His built reminds me of a more muscular and shorter Dominick Reyes overall.

We'll see, he got hurt a few times so far. It's definately not super strong.
