Khamzat will never fight again

I heard the UFC brass is moving all of its fighters to BKFC after they gauge Mike Perry’s star debut

I just have a funny feeling that we've seen the last of him. The UFC is dead set on cockblocking his next fight with Burns and shows little to no interest in scheduling him.

My theory: after their bust up with Ngannou, the UFC brass have made a conscious decision to discourage avoid marketable and dominant champs whose selling power may exceed that of the UFC brand. Khamzat has all the hallmarks of one such fighter, and he's been frozen out as a result. They want bland, boring, uninteresting fighters with no name value, and who by extension are in a less advantageous position via a vis the UFC in contract negotiations.

Just my two cents.

I think the OP forgot the UFC makes 90% of the money. Would you rather have an employee bring in 100k so you make 90k or would you rather have an employee bring in 100million so yo make 90 million. At that point who cares if he makes 10 million you made 90.

There’s a reason Dana slobbers Conner and Khabib’s knob.

>put katmat in yer thred title

>guaranteed replies

back in my day, clickbait took effort

You are completely wrong here.
they could give two shits about you.
You make them money? they want you.

If they did not change their stance with someone like Conor, it won't be Francis that will make them change their minds.

Let me clarify it for you: They want money.
They will fight and try to give you the least amount as possible.
But if you are a superstar, they will give you the money and keep making the most off your back.

They did it to GSP, they did it to Silva, they did it to Brock, they did it to Conor... Francis who?????

Same. I also heard that a merger is imminent and the new brand will be called UBKFC.

His absence, like Jon Jones's is highly suspicious. I wonder if it's for the same reason.
Both healthy and constantly training....

They have an obligation to their investors to make proper business decisions and Khazmat is a big draw. They will make decisions to best capitalize on his brand to maintain the UFC brand.

My theory on why there hasn't been movement on the Burns fight is because they need to have it in Abu Dhabi so Khamzat can "make" weight, and thus, they're trying to figure out the logistics.

If he makes WW in the West, I'll gladly eat crow, but here are the facts.

1. He's only fought at MW in the U.S. and Sweden. All of his WW fights are in the Middle East.
2. He's bigger than most MWs.
3. He looks exactly the same at both WW and MW. The only difference is that he dwarfs his opponents at 170.
4. At his last weigh in, he held the towel and the scale fluctuated five pounds.

If I'm Ali, there's no chance in hell I'm letting Usman, Burns, Luque, or Muhammad fight him in the Middle East for all the reasons I listed.

Also, idk why the UFC doesn't just have him fight at MW. He can be just as big a star, is good enough to contend, and that division is desperate for fresh blood. Meanwhile, there's a logjam at the top of WW when it comes to the title picture. Maybe they want him and Izzy to each have their own things going, and thus, having them end up competing against each other in all likelihood would be counterproductive.

in an alternate reality this would be a solid analysis. unfortunately we're living in the real world and this is complete garbage.

Nah mate.

Dana loves Khamzat. And now that khabib has gone they badly want another guy that will appeal in a similar way who is from a culturally similar background.

Am sure that fight will happen or a similar opponent.

Yeah, gotta calm my mind down from all this violence it's been consuming. That's not healthy. Curling and darts, here I come!
Meh. Darts are sharp. Let's play nerf football. 2 hand touchbutt of course. In the park
