yeah he shouldnt rush fighting for the title. he was still very inexperienced going into this fight and it showed a bit. No shame in that, at least he showed a lot of heart and never stopped pushing forward. This has been a good learning experience for him and itll only make him stronger. It was the best matchup for chimaev anyway because of the high level jui jitsu,

But really hell learn so much from this fight. This was much needed experience he never faced before. He lacked the abilty to properly adjust his gameplan when he faces serious opposition. But he showed a lot of heart and willpower, a good chin and good sportmanship. Hell return much stronger for his next fight. And both colby and Usman are probably better matchups for him anyway. Its not the first time a wrestler struggles vs a highly skilled jui jitsu guy,... remember cain vs werdum
