Khamzat won that fight for sure

But it wasn't "smesh"

Everyone including me expected Khamzat to kill burns in the first round, but he got dropped at least twice today and won a close decision

Levels to this and Khamzat ain't no Nurmagomedov.
Train must have been fun while it lasted (for his fans), though

No way Gilbert won the 3rd round. He got marched down and outstruck for the vast majority of it.

For the first 90 seconds he did, but then he came back strong.

It was a close round.

nah, just one take down, the rest of the time he was on the defense, and when he had chances to engage he stood him up.

BJJ championships mean jack shit in mma. Islam ran through Davi Ramos with no issues, who is even more accomplished than Burns.

continue with your shertardiness
You are showing trouble keeping up with what the conversation was about. Islam engaging with a BJJ guy doesn't mean that BJJ means "jack shit" in MMA. Islam isn't Khamzat. Khamzat had no problems taking Burns down, he just didn't want to stay in the ground with him and the conversation was about being able to take Burns down or not.

He would have no problems going to the ground with Islam if it came to that, although he could just as easily neuter any attempt at grappling and knock him out standing.

It’s Ramadan. I’m sure he’s fasting. Does anyone know if he is or isn’t 4 sure?

Probably because someone didn't have guts to move up to his original weight class nor fight someone like Burns, world BJJ champion with punching power.
Not even half as bad as a middleweight fighting down a weight class against someone who's actually a lightweight. Come on now

By the end of Round 1, it seemed like Khamzat was gassed. From Round 2 onward, it seemed like Khamzat's punches lost their knockout power, and it seemed like Khamzat was being knocked off balance by every power punch to the head that Burns threw.

In Rounds 2 and 3, it seemed like Burns retained a lot more power in his punches than Khamzat. Even though it seemed like Khamzat tried to press the action more, I think Burns did more damage in both of those rounds.

I scored the fight 29-28 in favor of Burns.
when you start counting how much the punches hurt you know you are giving it to your favourite fighter. Khamzat touched Burns more times than the other way round in round 3. No one got dropped. Which punches did more damage is anyone's guess

his ceiling for the current level, of course he needs to evolve, and he needs to evolve a lot to achieve what he wanted to. Izzy was never in trouble of his back, he is actually pretty good at getting out of it and back up. Now imagine Izzy striking with Chimaev after what we saw today.

chimaev made the mistake of abandoning his wrestling. He basically brawled with Burns. When he went for takedowns, he got them. He has a lot of learning to do about ring generalship and controlling pace.

blah blah
Islam's mma grappling is better than burns. logic dictates that khamzat would have more trouble with islam on the ground, if he coudn't play with burns. not sure what your little shertard mind is thinking

There's a ton of people who post here who have no idea what they're watching.
At some point people must swallow their pride and admit to letting the hype get the better of them.

Khamzat won like i expected, but it wasn't that once in a lifetime dominant 1 round performance like i think you been spewing for the past month. Judges had it 29-28 and i think i agree. It was competitive all the way through too.

Khamzat didn't look to be on Usmans level but that fight should def happen next.

Izzy didn't look to be on Whittakers level after Gastelum as well. People should remember that.

Like a guy who almost died cutting weight beating two former featherweights as his best career wins?

I literally said round 2 the entire time. Why do you lie?

No point in having conversations if you're gonna lie
