I think UFC are waiting for Khamzat to fight a top 5. Burns,Luque,Edwards,Muhammad and Colby are all without opponents. So ”if” Khamzat loses then its a againts one of those great fighters and not ”gatekeepers”.

Islam is close to the titel shot and its no brainer to do the Dariush fight. Khamzat have to many options, so Khamzat and UFC can wait and see how things play out.

I actually snapped the branch …..Ref called it a no contest …..Even though the branch was ranked much higher then me and I was lucky to fight the branch in the first place ….I spent a year crying for a rematch on social media …..
