Ikram Aliskerov is a good fighter who is on the way up, he's a former World Combat Sambo champion and his only loss is to Khamzat. John Phillips is a journey man for sure, but he isn't a can. Jiangling Li is/was a ranked opponent and is a good fighter. Gerald Meerchaert is 3-0 since losing to Khamzat.

Khamzat is going to be a champion. the hype is real

Maybe you would prefer he fight once a year but I would love to see him active. Mangy and then Belal and then Colby and then a title eliminator. He should be able to do that in 6 months since he never takes damage.

I’d be ok with Muhammad or Magny …..If he runs through either ….I see no reason to waste a fight on the other …..But if he’s gonna fight every month….line them up ….I’m confident he beats everyone ….but unsure about Usman

Let's be honest here, Li got outwrestled by Neil, who got outwrestled by Lightweight RDA. And Khamzat is a Middleweight size, elite wrestler. It's natural for Khamzat to toy with Li, who is a bad wrestler even amongst the Welterweights.

Li is probably the worst wrestler/grappler between the ranked Welterweights, probably worse than even Old Wonderboy.

Belal is definitely above Li as an overall fighter, and his Takedown defense is one of the best, it would be a much harder fight for Khamzat. I would like to see that fight.

If Khamzat knocked Li while standing and trading, that would be impressive, but we never see that happen, Khamzat immediately shoot for a takedown very quick, didn't want to stand and trade. I doubt he can do the same to Belal, he will be forced to stand and trade and perhaps even his cardio will be tested against Belal.

I’ve seen lots of nasty eye pokes …. Never seen anyone act like that ….A lot of panic for a cage fighter ….I get sight is important and all that ….but I couldn’t believe he rolled around

The "NC" was a much better outcome for Belal than the "L" that was obviously coming. I've long suspected that his dramatic reaction was out of guilt for being happy inside.

I don't think that Belal's a bad fighter, but Leon was starting to find his rhythm and was thoroughly kicking his ass.

I think for the most part, Khamzat is legit.

The big question is how is he gonna hold up when he's the nail and not the hammer? For some people (Cyborg, Tito), they just wilt under the pressure.

I do agree, as someone mentioned above me, that his wrestling credentials are weak but that isnt always a sure fire indication that their wrestling sucks (GSP).

Outside of that, the dude has the skills to go to the top of the division and if he fights a top 5'er next, I wouldnt be surprised if he isnt next up for Marty should he win.
