Is Khamzat Chimeav legit or still hype?

Dudes beating bums and shertards on his nuts like thirsty camels. Have him fight a top 5 first, Burns, Colby or even Edwards or something first yall calm down...

No, I am not sold on Islam as a champion or top contender. Same reason, he hasn't beaten a top contender. Makes no difference that he's on a longer win streak. If Khamzat had 6 guys he faced that were lower ranked WWs than he'd have a 9 fight win streak at WW. I actually have more faith in Khamzat with his skill vs the top WWs than I do in Islam. The reason why I am not sold on Islam yet is cause I don't think he beats the top 4 guys, but that's just my opinion. I think Khamzat does better vs the top 5.

I think Khamzat will get a title fight after his next one. I can see the UFC pushing him and they see value in his name and popularity. Colby/Usman is this weekend and the only guy left is Edwards if he beats Masvidal. I think Khamzat will get a top 5 guy next and if he wins that he will fight for the title. WW doesn't have that many options cause Usman has beaten most, and by next weekend it will be Colby and Masvidal 2x each.

He just ran through Hooker who went life and death with Poirier but yeah sure, Islam ain't ready. Maybe after he beats nine more guys he'll earn the right to fight 5-3 Gaethje or 1-1 Chandler.
 
With this logic, a lot of people should move classes. But he indeed made weight. Also, keep in mind last year he was taking fights a mw also

Hes about the same size as Usman, so no thanks. Stop looking for reasons to hate on the mans performance.

i'm not hating. he's my fave fighter right now. i just don't like seeing one guy obviously way bigger than the other guy. reminded me of when giga fought that step in or when o'malley fought that other step in. this isn't the first fight i've seen.

it's just bad for the sport.

Bad exemple with Giga, the guy was a BW on short notice who accepted to fight a FW
