I'll never forgive him for turning down Rockhold. The Magny fight doesn't appeal to me because Magny will get beaten. Khamzat vs Rockhold would've been insane. He ducked Rockhold, who was coming off an injury, has a glass jaw, is 37 years old and a former world champ. But because he's smaller, weaker, can actually grapple, all of a sudden Khamzat doesn't want to fight anyone, any time, any place anymore. wack.

Having just watched this interview myself, I think you're misrepresenting details by calling it a "duck" somewhat. Magny did the right thing by cutting a promo when prompted, but throughout the interview he emphasized it was most likely the brass holding out to see if a bigger fight-- probably with Colby-- can be made.

Khamzat and his team should push hard for a fast track shot at Izzy. It's a fight he would win if he fought smart.

I feel like a slow build up to a showdown with Usman is going to be very dissapointing for both him and the fans. It will be a boring fight. They will avoid grappling with each other, and it will be a 5 round stand up fight where Khamzat tries to take Usman's head off with one big shot but gets jabbed and dirty boxed all night instead.

I keep thinking the same thing. He wants a top ten win, noone will fight him, yet there's a top ten guy that keeps calling him out. One of his biggest critisisms is not earnign a spot. If it's such an easy fight take it and people can't say he didn't earn his top ten spot. It's so weird.
