Khamzat has a huge size advantage. Colby has zero wins over current UFC fighters and is older.

Khamzat will smesh him into Bolivian. But this fight almost certainly doesn't happen. Colby doesn't fight larger, younger fighters who are in their primes.

This is false. 0 wins over current UFC fighters? Not true.

Khamzat is going to pull out LOL
It will be hard for him to pull out of the fight seeing as Colby is too scared to accept it in the first place. For some reason people forget that they tried to make this fight already and to no one’s surprise, Colby ducked.

This is the fight to make if you need neither story line to make any sense whatsoever.

Khamzat was the most hyped prospect I've ever seen and has fallen off completely with his inability to fight anywhere but the middle east, pulling out of the few fights he can have, and had his lungs and cardio destroyed by Covid. Still he is fighting people out of their weight classes in meaningless fights and demanding title shots. He's not going back to 170, so there's 0 part of this that moves him forward. He does what, beats the guy who already lost multiple times to his last opponent, neither of whom fight in his actual weight class?

Colby hasn't beaten anyone relevant to MMA for 5 entire years, is 2-3 (with wins being shot fighters already on multiple fight losing streaks before facing Colby), and just looked about as good as Chuck Liddell when he fought Tito for the third time. Colby is hoping he can survive rounds 1-2 and then cardio Khamzat to death to claim any level of relevancy again and hopefully parlay that into a completely unnecessary 4th title shot.

Give Khamzat a top 5 MW, and give Colby literally anyone with an actual ranking on the way up since his top 5 ranking is one of the biggest jokes in MMA.

2. and he somehow recently got a titleshot while none of his wins in awhile have been over a legit top WW.

I mean he’s in his late 30s himself and has been around a while. It makes sense that the majority of his wins are against older fighters.

He beat Masvidal who was coming off back to back title shots. In what world is a 2x title challenger “not a legit top Welterweight”?

He wasn't. At best the 1st match but absolutely nothing to deserve the 2nd match.

Colby is the definition of a rank squatter

Lmao. Two of the biggest cans in the sport that never fight.

0% chance.

Who are all these “legit top Welterweights” that should’ve got the fight instead then? Before you say Belal it’s because his own mother wouldn’t pay to watch him fight.

Honestly, the majority of the division deserved it more than he did. He beat Masvidal, who fkin beat nobody.

Well to be fair at that time Colby was in title fight talks and Khamzat was few wins into his UFC career against mostly unknown guys. I'm not sure any one in Colby shoes would take a fight against Khamzat or anyone ranked where Khamzat was at the time. It just wasn't a good business move at the time.

Lol who is the source that is reporting this fight? Why isn't the usual mma media reporting this?

Lol nice way of saying “I don’t know”.
Does it matter who I list when you're like "Obvious contender who clearly earned it over Colby doesn't deserve it because I find him boring"?

You sound like you're really willing to listen LOL

I’m all ears. You won’t name anybody and instead say “the majority of the division” which is obviously bullshit. The fight business is about making money. The reason Belal never got a shot is because no one gives a shit about him enough to buy a PPV until now and even then they had to absolutely stack the card. Coincidentally enough the current champ got his title shot for beating the same person Masvidal did.
