Anyway I watched this documentary on youtube earlier as I wanted to know more about his story and now I'm a fan (even though he doesn't seem to fight at all lately).

I can’t imagine anything he’s done being worthy of documenting, tbh. 3 fights in 66 days. And in the 40 months since.. 4 fights. It’s pretty much impossible to get excited about somebody fighting an average of once every 10 months.

And I think he’s screwed his own career in almost every way possible the last cpl of years. He might be barred from the US. Possibly other countries as well. Except for the Middle East and Russia. It would be pretty hard if he can only fight a cpl times per year over there to build a serious, and large fanbase, imo.

Loopy took his record for the quickest turnaround in modern UFC history. His was 10 days. She did it in 7 days. And she won four fights in 7 months in 2023. That’s a girl I can get behind. Her back story is pretty cool, as well. And she doesn’t hang out with a war criminal for fun.

He is an exciting fighter but needs to fight his actual weight class, I don't see watching a documentary changing my opinion on this.
