Khamzat beats any MW from any era

This fight with DDP, to me it looked like Driccus just ran into a particular set of skills that he just didnt have the tools to deal with, we have seen him been taken down, we have seen him in compromised positions on the ground if only briefly, but he always found a way up, but in this outing, first of all, TDD was non existent, which is death against a guy like Khamzat. I know its easier said than done, but you need to fkn get your legs back, at least make him have to work for the takedown.
 
Maybe cuz its always been wrestling light.

The following guys have a solid chance e of beating him

  • Rockhold - never been outgrappled in MMA. Better striker but weak chin
  • Sonnen - best pure wrestler at MW would have the best tdd
  • Romero - if he actually has a wrestling heavy camp. He's the highest skilled pure wrestler though his mma wrestling leaves a lot to be desired
  • Weidman - solid chin in his prime. Very good wrestler and a much better striker
  • Jacare - the WORST matchup. Better grappler than Burns who Borz was afraid to grapple with and he arguably hit harder
  • Kennedy - one of the better mma wrestlers ever at MW
  • 2008/09 Silva - extreme speed, power, precision and reaction time. He could catch Borz shooting from far like he did Newton or Ala Pele v Hughes.
  • Hendo - 2nd WORST match up. Granite chin, H bomb, highly decorated wrestler, great mma wrestling when he decided to use it. Very good fight IQ before he fell in love with H bomb

This is a crazy declaration to make for someone who has beat three middleweights, two who had no takedown defense.

khamzat was scared of the bjj of burns, anderson is on a different level. anderson would tool and ko him.
 
He looks unstoppable at times vs the opposition hes faced, but I dont think we can say that with confidence yet. Someone like Yoel or Hendo on paper would have had the ability to force much longer stand up windows than DDP could, and thats two guys who were known for their power and chins. Then you have a guy like Jacare who had the BJJ to deter Khamzat from taking him down but also had solid stand up.

It feels almost sacrilegious to even entertain the idea that Khamzat could have beaten Anderson, but tbh, yeah, its a very tough stylistic match up for Anderson, who, as great as he was, was not a top tier wrestler or BJJ guy.
 
Why do we have to be so premature in declaring people the best ever in their divisions? This is going to age awfully I expect.
 
He wouldn't beat GSP at ww but anyone else ......... Maybe Andy - i do t think he took Sonnen seriously n got lucky with the triangle.

Evolved so much you guys think a shitty striker with no cardio like Chimaev is an elite athlete because he beat a BUM who was champion, lol.

MMA is declining in skill for years, look FW/HW/LHW/MW divisions
