Luke Rockhold fell off overnight. He was an incredible fighter leading up to his loss to Bisping. Then all of a sudden he just lost everything and became a joke.
 
If we're not talking strictly about LHW then how about someone like Patrick Cote? He was on a 5 fight streak of OK names, was ranked like 7th before fighting Anderson.
 
If he somehow wins by gift of the gods he won’t hold onto it very long at all

Khalil has giant holes in his game but it is LHW. The current crop of guys are strikers. There is no incentive to get better since the UFC dumped all the LHW wrestlers to Bellator. Khalil is shorter than the other guys for LHW. He has power but everyone more or less hits hard in that division.

That was the worst title fight ever. They both deserved to lose. Pathetic. Then he got a NC the first time against Walker. He’s 1-0-2 in his last 3.

It’s not a big deal that he’s taking a number 1 contender fight. So what lol. He’ll get another shot

Yeah. He could go either way but I tend to lean that he winds up a trivia question only the most hard-core of fans will get right in 10-20 years.

(Or he could get the belt back, he is fairly fast and athletic, or fucking whatever you are supposed to say explosive and athletic).
 
I like Khalil but he's not a championship level striker with the pedigree to be able to be a real threat to Alex. No championship level striker is winning a close decision against Jacoby. That's not to throw shade at Jacoby, he's still very good but both times he fought championship level guys in GLORY (Alex and Simon Marcus) he got absolutely fucked up.

He did just as good against Jan as Pereira did. Both really close fights that Pereira and Ankalaev both should've won.

Giving it to Rountree is worse than if they were to give the WW title shot to Joaquim Buckley over Shavkat

It’s not like he’s not ever getting a shot. He’s getting a no. 1 contender fight because he wasn’t ready or willing the last time he as asked for another title shot. It’s a thin division and Pereira just smashed all the top guys Pretty much in record time

Shavkat wasn't ready or willing to fight Edwards for the title when he was asked during Ramadan at UFC 300 as well. Guess Buckley deserves to skip ahead of Shavkat

Claiming these are the same is dumb as fuck. Ignoring that Ank is 19-1 and Rountree is 13-5 with losses to unranked opponents and no wins over ranked opponents. Literally none.

I am not at all an Analaev fan I am however a fan of Alex Pereira. I just want to see him fight the best opponents and feel like it is truly a waste putting Alex in a Showcase fight that borders on being a Squash Match.
 
Hill is definitely the worst. At least Serra beat a GOAT contender. Hill beat an old man ready to retire
