Khabib's best asset isn't technique its strength

lmao, he's the best pure MMA grappler we have seen and his technique is absolutely amazing and a joy to watch.

Everyone always mentions his technique which is no doubt next level but his style of grappling would not work if he wasn't so strong, probably why he refuses to move up to 170 since he would have no strength advantage there.
Nope.
I go ahead and say,he is today the most complete grappler in activity.
Its not that he have the BEST TD or the BEST submission game or the BEST top control and etc.
But
He is the ONLY one who can keep a insane high level at all categories of grappling techniques and use all of it competently.

Strength is maybe 20% of what makes him so impressive all the rest is pure technic and Fight IQ.

Khabib has quite a unique body shape.
I don't know of it's just me, but he almost looks like he has a slight deformity in his physique that lends itself to his natural ability in grappling.
Couple that with elite technique and a savage mindset, he has everything going for him.
But is it just me? When I see clips of him in interviews and embeddeds, he looks normal. As soon as I see him in the cage, his physique looks a bit odd. Similar to DC actually. DC has this weird huge head disproportionate to his fridge-like body. It's more noticeable when they are fighting someone with a more normal physique.

Here we go again, khabib is one of the more technical grappler in the game, if not of all time from his positional awareness to the way he reads his opponent movement.

The few times Dustin had any type of separation against the cage khabib would come in on angle, not straight forward Preventing Dustin from dropping his hips and getting square against the fence that was masterful.

What you have on khabin is primarily great Fight IQ secondarily amazing technique and lastly good strength.

Can this "Khabib is too big for LW" nonsense stop already? The fact he had trouble cutting weight in the past is meaningless. In the cage, absolutely nothing about his body/physique stands out. Always the same story with you guys. Whenever someone dominates a division (Mcg at FW in the past, JJ...) you're looking for reasons to discredit their performances and the weight/height thing is the first thing that usually comes up. Ridiculous. Let's also bring up the fact Khabib couldn't toy around with Tibau (roided to the gills freak) like 10 years ago. That's also super relevant in the present day! I'm obviously being sarcastic here.

Did you see the trips? That has literally nothing to do with strength, nobody is a UFC champ because they're "strong"

You have no proof that he'd have a tough time at 170. Maybe he would, maybe he wouldn't but you cannot state it as a matter of fact.

Also, he's not killing his body to make 155. The numbers for yesterday are in and he didn't cut a crazy amount.

I think this is because he uses his weight and body very well, always putting pressure and making you carry him. His ground game is beast but I do think he wouldn't survive WW in the UFC

He is carrying a lot of back muscle.

Yes, his technique and sense of positioning is second to none. Again and again people act like Khabib's grappling isn't inflicting damage and what not, somehow trying to convince themselves that he's not really fighting but the reality is that you're going to experience hell while Khabib is in control.

we have also heard that he feels like a light heavyweight from his teammates, you don't feel like a LHW if you're not unnaturally strong, he would have a really tough time beating the wrestlers at 170, that's why he kills his body to make 155.

People rolling with Rickson said he felt like he was 300 pounds
He probably had the best BJJ technique of all time

When he grabs a wrist, he usually controls it as long as he wants. He has to have some incredible grip strength.
I would love to see him fight Country Breakfast in a prime fantasy fight.

Lol at TS existing. Being stronger than your opponents who are the same size shouldn't be allowed in the UFC.

Khabib's best asset is not his strength but his ability to cut down 40 lbs and avoid the welterweight division. Here is a man who walks around 195 but fights at 155. He should be fighting men his own size/strength at 170 and not rigging the system. Fake 28-0 champ.

You do know that "walk around" weight isn't the weight you cut from, right? Khabib cuts from 175 or so, which is not abnormal or particularly high for the lightweight division.

And yet, you want him fighting guys who are cutting from 190+ because...

Well, no reason. You just don't like him. Guys like Usman are WAY bigger than Khabib.

bullshit in the presser Dustin himself said Khabib didn't feel strong but his technique was amazing
