I'd like to see Holloway win to stop the hype train but I don't really think he has the strength to compete with Khabib.
Max has 2 submission victories. I don't think he is as big as a threat to Khabib on the ground as some people are making it out to be.
Taking a fight against a threat like Khabib in a weeks notice is a terrible decision. I get the praises for stepping up but its not smart.

DC obviously is a nice enough guy to carry AS without embarrassing him. Khabib is gonna send a message with this one.

My quick analysis for the fight is that Khabib does his normal standing for about 1-1 1/2 minute for the beginning of the round. During that time max will use jabs to try and gage distance then Khabib will close distance and clinch max against the cage and get a trip takedown. On the ground Khabib peppers in shots while Max scrambles for the rest of the round. By the end of the round Max goes for a gullotine but it won’t be threatening. The fight goes like that for the whole fight unless Khabib gases which may cause Khabib to leave openings with his hands down walking max down not using footwork.

DC didn't carry him. Anderson has notoriously good control from bottom and DC was sort of star-struck to be fighting the greatest striker of all-time on short notice on UFC 200.
Just a bad performance on DCs part which was understandable considering the circumstances.

Max is a high IQ fighter. I believe he will make this much more difficult than people are predicting

Exactly, Silvas bottom game is very good, he can hold and stall very well, and he’s a lot stronger than people think.

You serious? If Chael and Weidman could dribble AS’ head off the canvas from his guard at will, you think DC couldn’t Khabib smesh him from his half guard? Please.
The DC that fought Volkan or the DC that fought Rumble would stop AS in 3 minutes. He obviously had too much respect for him to embarrass him.

Yep, but in a 5 minute fight... it will be way worst. Khabib will hurt Max big time. Props to him for taking the challenge.

High IQ wont stop Khabib taking you down and Max hasnt shown the kind of ground skills to stop the onslaught that follows. His only hope is that Khabib gasses out in rounds 4&5 or a miracle...
