Yes, guys like me are buying it, because I watch the nightly news and see every night who is causing much of the trouble in the world. It is Hamas, ISIS, Thaliband, and many other "religious" factions, and guess what religion they all are? Who was it that raided Israel and murdered many innocents a couple years ago? The poor people of Palastine are still suffering greatly because of that raid. What was Osama Bin Laden? Who killed the innocents in Germany and New Orleans recently. The list of attacks in the name of Allah goes on and on. Am I a racist? Maybe, but its because of what I see. These religious fanatics brought it on themselves, and they tainted their religion for millions around the world.

There is a longer video that is uploaded, where other passengers begin defending khabib. one mentions that the original flight attendant that spoke to khabib spoke very fast and what she said did not sound like a question but rather a statement. it sounds that is likely why khabib did not initially respond.

these are random passengers on the plane defending him, and he also handled the entire situation pretty calmly. i feel this story is very believable.


i dont think the video is "carefully edited". no one recorded the initial interaction with the flight attendant that gave the initial instructions, because why the hell would they be.

Passengers are required to respond by answering the question or acknowledging the statement either way, especially for an exit row passenger.

I am a big Khabib fan, and also a very frequent traveler having been in this situation many, many times. I have personally been sternly warned by flight attendants to pay attention to their exit row instructions and seen others be removed from the exit row for ignoring repeated requests from the flight attendant to put their phone down, remove their headphones, etc.

I wasn't there but Frontier's statement sounds very reasonable to me. It seems very likely Khabib repeatedly failed to acknowledge the flight attendant's attempts to get his attention until she told him he had to change seats. That finally got Khabib to respond and start arguing with the flight attendant which drew the attention of others to start recording. I also think it is safe to assume Khabib has traveled enough on US commercial airlines that he knew or should have known very well what he was doing.

Dude could have just moved into another seat he was offered and not only saved himself the extra hours waiting in the airport for another flight but the embarrassment of everyone knowing he flies Frontier, apparently no able to afford even coach on a legit airline.

Boo Hoo, I hope Khabib's feeling weren't hurt. If I was on a airline and a Muslim looking guy was sitting by the emergency exit and was causing a problem, I wouldn't be comfortable either. Khabib communicates very well in English. Honestly he seems like he would be easier to talk to then a shit ton of actual Americans who are unintelligible speaking their own language forget them speaking any other languages.

Flying sucks and flight atentands/customer service people are mostly assholes who hate their job. I love to know new places but loathe going to the airport and having to deal with these tsa and airline jerkoffs.

100%. My experience with kml, emirates, qatar airways and Nipon airways have been incredible.

Which is why he should be listening to the emergency instructions. If they tell you to listen and you blow them off, they will tell you to move. Every airline will do this.

They asked for his attention and he probably just didnt care. The assumption he was removed because he is Muslim is silly (and baseless, given that everyone is commenting based on a short clip, not even the confrontation that lead to it).

If they thought he was a terrorist they wouldn't just move him to another seat. I dont know why it is unbelievable that Khabib wasn't paying attention to the emergency instructions. Average Joes blow them off and get asked to change their seat, why wouldn't he?
