I'd have to go with neither...but if I had to pick, I'd say Rory.

I do think the Rory hype is totally out of control though. He is a 2:1 favorite over Jake, which is crazy. Jake should be the favorite. Rory's best wins are lightweights. Jake is the first good wrestler he's ever fought.

I think Jake by 1st round KO is the most likely outcome to that fight.

I will say this about Khabib - he's closer in skill to his division's champ than Rory is. The difference between the top 10 LWs is very small. WW has more dominant fighters though.

Rory by far. This Khabib hype is getting out of control, he lost to Tibau if you aren't blind and Tibau is a gatekeeper at best. Let Khabib get his wish and get mauled by an out of shape unmotivated BJ.

I think Rogan's very biased commentary colored people's perceptions of that fight.

Tibau defended well - but that's all he did, defend. You can't win a fight when you have virtually zero offense.

You also underestimate Tibau. He'd give most top 10 LWs a really tough fight.

I think Khabib is going to be a future champion, I am not sold on Rory yet. I have seen Khabib show high level skills in all areas so far, he has very good wrestling, a strong clinch game, great cardio, good stand up with KO power and he has very high level Sambo.

Khabib landed less strikes every round and did not complete any takedowns. none. He did less than fuck all to win a single round, let alone win the fight.

I think all the movement from those 20 failed takedown attempts colored some attention deficit viewers into thinking khabib was doing something (via the leonard garcia effect). But more likely its just fanboys who want to give him a pass so they can continue the hype train eventhou its derailed.

Whatever. i'll enjoy watching a 2nd derailment in the near future the moment he faces any legit contenders
