Eddie is possibly fighting RDA, Pettis is locked up, Cowboy is fighting Cote and it doesn't seem like anyone else wanted the fight. Khabib on 10 days notice is not an easy fight. At least the guy is fighting

Christ. That's a shit fight for Horcher to take as a debut, and although Horcher is a legit prospect, it's pretty clear that he's just being fed to Khabib for an easy win. Cowboy was totally up for it, would've been a much better fight. Ah well, after Khabib runs through him I think we'll be getting Nurmagomedov-Ferguson later.

On the other hand, if Horcher upsets Khabib then everything goes to shit, and personally, I'll love it.

It does make sense to give a guy a fight that's a step down when the original opponent bows out. Sorta like the UFC did with McGregor giving him Diaz when RDA stepped out.
