I had predicted Khabib was going to win.

But this is just bad. The FW champ stepping up 6 days out to move up to fight the guy that’s 25-0. This isn’t my ideal way for this to go down. How is this a fair match up ?

Could you imagine if Holloway pulled it off though ? That would be insanely epic.

The intriguing thing about Ferguson/Khabib is Tony was really good off his back and has a lot of submission victories. Max was taken down by Conor of all people and only has 2 submissions to his resume.

It's a really bad style match up for Max especially on one weeks notice. If he pulls this off, it's going to be amazing.

No dude, this is an easy win for Khabib. Unless Max catches him coming in very early -- which is unlikely considering Max is a slow starter and relies on combos and pressure to put guys away -- Khabib is mauling him.

This is an undefeated LW who struggles to make 155 and is probably the best grappler/GnP fighter in the sport at the moment. Max is a FW who relies predominantly on volume striking.

Props to Max for taking this fight, I love the kid, but I hope Dana and Co are giving him serious financial returns on this short notice fight. He is going to cop a flogging.
