Khabib Interview in Turkey (Translation)

Lol at Khabib’s college photo. His roommate looks pretty cool tho

I want to like this post, but I think you can say 'I don't support Hebdo even if they got attacked/murdered' without saying 'they got what they deserved'.

Should DC have to denounce ISIS too? ISIS came after Khabib for fucks sake.
Exactly!

Forget DC likely he has no clue like many others in the Gym. Khabib openly talk about insulting his religion and stuff. You seriously thing DC thinks headstomping someone outside the cage is ok?

What the fuck does going after Danis have to do with ISIS?

You're absolutely wrong.
Your free society narrative is pure hypocrisy and manipulative. When a national newspaper keeps throwing shit over and over toward a community that represent a good portion of the demographic population it mostly plays the game of the far right political. It's just a way to spread hate, confusion, and false belief like islam=terrorism.
You don't want to fight for your freedom by being over provocative. You fight for freedom by respecting others culture.
They played a very dangerous game for decades not only for them but for the whole country.

The fook you talking about? you fight for your freedom of speech by saying whatever the fook you want as well as allowing others to do same even if you disagree with it. Who decides what is overly provocative or not? you ? lol

Clear case of cultural differences with a sprinkle of arrogance

He is enjoying the win deservedly so , but you can also see how fast this win has gone to his head

Hopefully his father(who appears level headed) can help him get into reality and keep him mentally stable

LOL. Just LOL.

I'm not the type of person who goes around threatening violence against people for publishing a cartoon. I'm not the type of person who believes that is legitimate. It is, I'm afraid, the mindset of the stone age. If you get upset about Charlie Hedbo cartoons, tough fucking shit. They should be published widely and plastered on every street corner. This is the West. We are not going to tolerate informal blasphemy laws or threats of violence against those who 'insult' Mohammed.

Again, to say that 'sentiment was a pretty normal trend in the West' is only partly true. It was certainly prevalent amongst some Muslims and radical liberals. It was not prevalent among public opinion at large, which is far more robust when it comes to dealing with Islamic extremism than most governments.

My well-meaning but incredibly stupid Sherdogger, you still haven’t understood a word I’ve said.

The t-shirt had nothing to do with violence- it was about declaring their disagreement with Hebdo’s content. As a freedom of speech warrior I’m sure you don’t have any problem with people disagreeing with who they want whether it’s via a t-shirt or via news articles like Greenwald.

If you think that’s terrorism, then please pick up the phone and call the FBI. Tell them to arrest Glenn Greenwald and his fellow journalists who spread the Je ne suis Charlie motto. Let’s see how far you get.

Respecting others culture? The Muslim world in general has less respect for other cultures and make like difficult for non-Muslims. Just today, a non-Muslim Pakistani woman was acquitted of blasphemy (against Islam) which carries the death penalty. She had to sit in prison for 8 years before her acquittal. And her life is still in danger since religious parties and clerics have condemned the judgement. And her whole blasphemy thing seems to be completely made up by her accusers. Kindof weird that your first words were "hypocrisy and manipulative".

This.

Khabib is confusing

He apologized after the incident & now says he did nothing wrong
He said he doesn't fight for money, but him & his team have been putting money first (as far as potential fights)
taqqiya

Pretty much hypocritical, defending Charlie Hebdo's overly provocative and unconstructive caricature - while at the same time criticizing that Abdul-Aziz wears a T Shirt which does not support Charlie Hebdo. Freedom of Speech btw. Why should he support Charlie Hebdo? He can condemn these attacks and still be against Charlie Hebdo. Funny how people immediately jump at the first and most stupid conclusion because it feeds their deluded worldview.

Please do, those done in the name of religion in modern society triggered by free speech.
