Well he did beat Tibau..

And its fair to assume that if Tibau was using EPO under USADA, he was using EPO and probably a whole lot more when he fought Khabib

Awesome he won against Tibau but he didn't.................... another one of those. Somebody replied to me the other day and literally said yes but he almost beat Jon Jones, talking about Gus. Khabib has a win over RDA and Khabib this is why he is the best LW currently even though RDA has the belt. Khabib will wear that UFC pride sooner or later. If Tony beats him than Tony is the best because he has beat somebody who has been through the current rank #1 fighter
 
I like Khabib and really hope he mops the floor with Ferguson, but I'm not super confident. Also yes, styles make fights and the Tibau fight makes me wonder how Khabib would do against a high level wrestle boxer like a prime Gray Maynard. Lucky for him Alvarez is just about the only guy that fits that bill at 155 right now, maybe Michael Johnson as well. He's lucky he's not at 170 with prime Koscheck, Hendricks, Woodley, Gastelum, prime Ellenberger, Maia and Lombard (last two aren't wrestlers, but still).

Tibau is a terrible stylistic match up for grapplers. His TDD is super elite. Probably was the best at LW when Khabib fought him.

Furgeson has beat some very good fighters. Absolutely dominated Thompson which is impressive, no one else in the UFC was able to do that. He should of beat Bendo and Green tbh. Tibau is a really good win too.

And Khabib has been out for like 2 years, and has had a ton of injuries. That many injuries on your knees often means you are never the same guy after. Look at Cain, he looked awful against Werdum.

The RDA that fought Khabib also struggled with Cerrone right before that fight and lost a round even. Reborn RDA murdered him in a minute.

RDA is clearly a different man after that fight. He's added muscle and his cardio is insane. Sure he didn't fight Khabib, but Nate, Bendo, Pettis, and Cerrone is a murderers row at LW. And he absolutely destroyed all of them. Not saying he'll beat Khabib, but if you think he's the same guy you aren't good at analyzing fighters.

I know Ferguson is legit and has great record so nothing but respect but if just half of the guy that beat RDA 2yrs ago turns up on april 16th it's going to be an easy win for Khabib. That was the best LW I have seen

Those people talking about the Castillo fight makes me laugh. Ferguson was looking for the finish the whole fight, and everything Castillo was doing in the ground was trying to hug Ferguson. He didn't nothing to Ferguson, didn't try a sub and wasn't trying to land punches. That fight was hard to watch because if Tony wasn't looking for the finish the whole time and losing positions because of that, he would had easily won. Doubt he will do that against Khabib.
