'His team wasn't happy with him messing around in rounds 3 and 4, but he states that he wanted to make it a 5 round fight to get in the practice of the extra rounds.

Yeah, just like that time he said he didn't finish Barboza, but that he had the ability to do so.
Oh, wait, he totally contradicted himself an hour later.

I don’t know about that. But he seems to be a very honest guy. So I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt. This time.

3, and 4 looked like he wanted to keep it standing. Which I took to be him trying to prove a point.

But I really don’t know for sure.

Except for those 6 failed take downs in a row he definitely wanted to keep it standing ... lol..

Or he has never gone five and was slowing down? Holding a man down your size for 5 rounds isn't that easy

This interview has been gold so far, saying he will defend, only one belt. If he stays true to his word regardless of win/lose he sounds like a champion.

Agreed, I think Khabib would have admitted it if he felt that he wouldn't have been able to get the finish. It would have been just as easy to say that he had three different opponents lined up to fight in the last week and he wanted to just play it safe.

Well he was hardly going Damian Maia for take downs so it did seem like he was ok with standing up, he was winning the standup pretty easily too.

Yeah, not even comparable to Maia's failed takedowns.

I could beat Khabib I just choose not to.

Y’all buy any form of bull shit. Lol what if Conor truly retired and this y’all
Champ . Y’all give dc and Woodley
Crap but his style
Okay .

Tony would beat this Khabib.
Tony was mounted in his last fight and dropped by Lando. His performances have been nowhere near as dominant as Khabib’s for the most part.
