Its like Dana said,Vadim and them werent really ever interested to really do it. I think that they preferred the open terms of the free market more than UFC's restrictive contracts,where if Fedor kept on winning,he basically had to retire for good to get out of it

I just feel like the amount of missed money had to have been massive right? There’s no way that was the right business decision for Fedor

I understand Fedor's misivings,really I do. He had legit concerns. But i think Vadim and that priest were bad people who steered Fedor the wrong way. Now Vadim is out of the picture and that Priest is making headlines in russia as some total fuckin psycho anti semitic anti mask nutjob who Fedor seems to have distanced himself from.

Khabib's thing is wanting to fight his idol, his hero, GSP.

GSP's thing is about doing the impossible. Which would be the third title shot and beating an undefeated LW GOAT. I think if they compensate GSP very well he would definitely be all for it.

Yup. I’m sure it’s not like Fedor hasn’t done well. But damn. They had to have been offering this guy 5 mil or more per fight to get him in the with Brock right? Like, from everything we heard, it had to be on that level of “fuck you money” where it was just absurd

True but GSP is yet to be officially retired. IMO he's just negotiating with all these things, in order to leverage more money. If he does fight Khabib it will likely be his last fight. And I believe he will get a lot of money, now that Khabib is bigger than ever.

Do people really think he's retired for good? I've accepted that he'd probably take a year or two off but in no way do I think he's done.
 
If it was a definite no, he wouldnt even be taking the meeting with Dana. Dana expecting Mcnugget to beat poirier, and throw a ton of cash at him
