News Kevin Lee has a fight booked

He's still so young, so much potential, he reminds me of another up and coming fighter in Erick Silva

If he makes it back to the big leagues then what a comeback story that would be. This is the lowest point professionally for him, probably. Fighting in these circuits shows a modicum of humility which hopefully will help him improve. Hubris was one of his undoing.

He's also scheduled to fight a month later or so, on Gamebread Bareknuckle MMA.
Damn. Kevin Lee wants to put in the work and collect some paychecks.

Lets see if he actually improved during his time off. His cardio was a real weakness and his striking was very limited. Even his grappling looked like it was regressing at the end of his UFC run.

Maybe if Kevin Lee found some new science that fixed his body, he'd be on top even today. Something happened behind the scenes and once he was broken, he never was the same. Hope he proves me wrong with 5 rd wrestling cardio and ko power.

The event is on now if anyone's interested:

If Kevin Lee loses to this dude he should retire in the cage imo.

The guy he's fighting has 2 wins in his past 11 fights and one of those W's is vs a guy who's record is ineligible due to being such a can.

His UFC days are done.
He has some decent highlights, but relies way too much on his physicality to be an elite talent *munches tortilla chips from the couch*

I can see that the Contender Series is for new faces in the UFC. To get back in is to win against tough opponents outside UFC. But that does not guarantee a resigning.. I would Hazzard to guess resignings are mostly politica and right now the Cung Le case is being decided which UFC doesn't want brought up (name associated li, lee,..). But could be one of Dana's henchmen didn't want him.. who knows...

He's the co-main while a guy in the main event has a 15-32 record (14 straight losses).
