Kevin Johnson or Chris Arreola?

I actually thought that fight showed KJ is NOT good at finishing opponents. He let Vargas off the hook many times and he only got the tko because Vargas' corner threw in the towel. I agree with Seano that Arreola would smother KJ and wouldnt gas nearly as bad as Vargas.

I think Johnson has looked a lot better in his previous fights. I don't know if this recent fight and him coming in heavy had anything to do with it but I was just kinda meh on his performance. I thought KJ was gonna take Vargas' head off in the first round. The size difference alone was ridiculous in that fight.

The short notice might have been a factor, but Vargas was 7 pounds lighter than his last fight, so he wasn't exactly out of shape either.

I think Johnson has a higher ceiling if he got the right training and was managed the right way. Nipples is a one-dimensional fighter with a suspect chin. But if they fought right now, Arreola would probably win. He'd rush Johnson who wouldn't know what to do, and would go down fast. Neither of these guys is REALLY any good.
