Media Kevin Holland rage quits press conference

Seems like a nothingburger. Not the first person Rampage has rubbed the wrong way.

I don't mind Rampage but I can't stand that Jaxxon dude. Annoying voice and it seems like he's built a whole grift out of pimping out fighters to sell chains and watches.

When he shuts up and just lets two guys like Rampage and Karo go at it, then it does become entertaining.

Yeah but the fact that he quit the interview over it is ridiculous. This shit aint that serious.

@SG123

Holland is almost as big of a can as you are.

{<jordan}

When is he becoming WW champ? 2022? Lmao.

If anything I would have been annoyed by all the bull riding questions like this is teh UFC brah

He still mad at Rampage

holland went on an autistic rant about owning a gun chambered in 45-70. It was a cringe moment during the interview.
and Hampage didn't know what it was so Kevin put himself up on some high horse because of it.

Rampage was a UFC champion. Holland... not so much.

Brings up Rampage Jackson outta nowhere, claiming that Rampage ruined it for everyone else because now, outside of fight week, you'll have to pay him to get an interview.
5 minutes later, when a reporter asks him about his relationship with Rampage, Kevin says Rampage is not a UFC fighter, and he's a dick. And then says goodbye and leaves.

Wow. He used to be likeable before.

I am not even
Again, cliff notes for those who don't want to watch:

  • Kevin said he had the Prates fight before this fight but Ian came along and the rest is history.
  • Kevin said he wanted the Luque fight for awhile now.
  • Kevin expects the fight to go his way and wants the older version of Luque in this fight where Luque can taken punishment. He thinks the fight does not go the distance.
  • By the end of the year he expects 5 to 6 fights but will probably not fight on the UFC Noche card because of Texas' marijuana laws. He said he has got to smoke his weed.
  • He thinks JDM being champ is amazing and thought Belal was going to lose. He thinks Islam will beat JDM.
  • Kevin thinks Belal's best win was Brady and that as long as you outwork him in camp you can outwork him in the fight.
  • It is intentional that Kevin has not done interviews in the lead up for the fight. The Jackson podcast changed his outlook on interviews.
  • The Jackson podcast might owe Kevin a few grand and Kevin says they do not pay on time.
  • Kevin says he charges out the ass for interviews now and unless it is this week most people are not getting an interview.
  • He talks about bull riding.
  • Kevin said he fits into the division by getting money and smoking weed.
  • He says his passion is the farm life and hunting life.
  • He says he fights for money.
  • Kevin tells a reporter that Rampage is not in the UFC and tells the reporter to get off of Rampage's dick. Then proceeds to leave the interview.
I know I cannot suffer even ten seconds of a Kevin Holland interview. What I do not know is how it is that people are so slow/incapable of noticing when a person has "lost their mind". To me, he is clearly is suffering from some form of light to moderate psychosis.

He lacks perspective and is hyper aggressive. It was most obvious in his Rampage interview, but is becoming a more frequent feature of his personality, his so-called distastefulness.

It falls very much in line with the "defense of reality" theory of psychosis. He is constructing a new reality to justify/defend against a reality that he finds threatening or distasteful. The problem is, as with most things, the threat comes from within; so, like a cancer or autoimmune illness, his constitution is cannibalizing his mind.

I may be wrong (and very much so), but I would not be surprised to see Holland pulling some Mayhem Miller, T-Ferg, BJ Penn, like stunts in the near (6mo to half a decade) future.

This is his record since 2021

Honestly, I don't hate that move. I'm all about thorough journalism, but you need to be able to take a hint and move past a dead topic.
