Kentucky Derby...and Beyond?

"Race 3 at Woodbine - I'll play the #7 to W/P at fair odds or better, and then key him over & under with the #1, #6 in exactas."

The will pays say it's doubtful I get a good price on the #7 (probably the favourite in the end), so it's looking like it'll be those exactas for $10 each for me in this race.

I’m joining you on this one but I’m going to play a trifecta 7 over 1,6 over 1,6.

The #7 wins by daylight as the pace pattern horse, but the other two could only manage 3rd and 4th thus screwing @t6p and I on our bets.

If I could get every pace pattern horse to run like that then I'll be a rich man in no time.

I should get my price on the #3 here, so W/P for $10/$10 on him is likely the play. Then the exacta straight for $6, and then the trifectas for $2 each. $50 risked in total.

I'm in with these. The #3 was right at my fair odds line of 5/2, so I played. Not sure where the very late money goes.
 
Another pace pattern horse crushes the field by daylight.

Came back #4, #9, #10, #7. Right horses, wrong order, T. Unless you boxed them.

The #9 is getting bet way more than I thought it would, so no addition bets in this race for me besides the pick 3 I put in earlier and that I'm still alive to.

Cheers T. Not sure it would have been worth it to box them anyways since the trifecta only paid 33/1 and you're covering 24 combos with 4 horses.
 
Prefer the #8 win the 5th at Woodbine since that pick 3 would pay the best at 85/1. But the #9 winning is okay too for a 65/1 payout. The #3 is only 40/1 on the pick 3.
 
The #9 won with the #3 in second, so my pick 3 payout is in the "okay" category.

Race 7 at Parx - #6 Glad Moon 5/2 (NPT, E2)

Race 8 at Fort Erie - #6 My Pal Katherine 8/1 (NPT, E2, LET)


No more exactas or trifectas for a while as that has been killing my account the last month or so. Just straight bets on one horse.
