I hate saying it but he would find a way to get knocked out or tkod in all those fights. Hes been falling apart for nearly a decade and a half. That fight with Don Frye took nearly everything he had left.

Methadone?!?! Shamrock's a junkie?! Would have assumed him to be many things, but a common junkie wasn't one of them. I can see him taking opioid pain meds enough that he gets hooked on them, then becomes an addict without going the heroin route, but when you end up on Methadone, that's usually because of a pretty full on habit so I wouldnt put it past him to have fallen into any and all opioid based drugs.

Maybe it 'explained' all this, but Methadone is used for one thing and one thing only. It's just PR if it says anything otherwise.
