Keep seeing 3:33 on the clock. I'm not superstitious. It's just weird.

Has this happened at a point in time for anyone else? I'm not a superstitious person but it's been happening recently and I get this weird feeling like wtf. Sort of like how people wake up during the "witching hour". I guess my brain or subconscious is trying to form or fabricate some sort of connection to it, which is weird because I don't believe in ghosts or omens or any sort of shit like that.

Am I the antichrist?

I mean, I'll look at the clock at catch it at 3:33 very often. I know it sounds stupid but it's kind of like how people wake up on the dot at a certain time in the middle of the night for no reason.

oh i get 11:11 a lot. you see plenty of other times in the day but only remember the odd ones like 11:11 or 3:33 ...

Agreed. I'm just wondering why it's been catching my attention as of late. As it's never been something i've even been cognizant of till the past few weeks.

That's the conclusion you came to from all this?

Yes.

It's called selection bias.
Your mind doesn't count the "misses" (the instances you look at the clock throughout the day that don't match the pattern) and remembers the "hits".

It's because we want to see patterns, our minds look for order.

Patterns. You're noticing lots of times throughout the day, but 3:33 stands out more than 12:45 or 7:13, so your brain remembers it more. It's why this also most commonly happens to people who notice 11:11. It's a visual pattern that stands out among the other times we see during the day, so our brain simply makes a bigger note of it.

Say in a given week you saw the times 7:32 fifty times, you saw 3:19 sixty times, and you saw 3:33 only 20 times. If someone asked you "what time did you see the most this week", you'd answer 3:33.

I get that. I'm not trying to apply any supernatural undertones to it. And what you just said makes total sense as I have been recently experiencing a lot of stress lately and I figured that might be my brain/subconscious trying to mindfuck me by making something out of nothing.

I can understand that, but the only thing i'm not understanding is why i'm suddenly so aware of it or get a feeling of uneasiness when I notice it recently, when it's never been the case before.

It was bothering me so much and I even went so far as to google it. All the search results were something about the holy trinity and that i'm receiving divine protection from the heavens. I just don't know what to believe anymore.

Oh, I didn't think you were. I just like the things our minds do.

It's like the time I asked myself why women in the 1960's seemed to have pokey nipples and banana torpedoes in the naughty pictures I've seen. It took me a while to realize it was photographers preferentially choosing models with such features.

I always catch it at 9:11 morning and night
