Kazuyuki Fujita

yeah i think almost any fighter could win a match w Ali where he was not allowed to hit you if you were on the ground and you crab-walk kicked him for 5 rounds and refused to stand up

Not MMA related but Inoki pushed this tool to the moon,he didnt want to get pinned by Brock Lesnar,on 2 different ocassions.

"Fujita tried every both of his techniques against Wanderlei. He slowly waited to get punched and laid on top of him without doing anything."

Also didnt he lie to Ali saying it was a work and then just started shooting on him? i am not a fan of Antonio,he did shoot on fellow pro wrestler and screwed the wwe champion out of his belt.

No I think Ali was expecting a real fight and even agreed to the weird rules. Thing is he figured the guy would at least stand up for like 1 minute at some point and it'd be lights out considering the guy had not real fighting experience besides like training karate as a kid.

Well, Anoki refused to stand up at all. For literally 15 RDs the guy was crab walking or doing a slide-drop while kicking into Ali so he couldn't be hit. With all the damage Ali supposedly took to his legs Im kind of surprised he didnt just lose his tempter and knock him out during the crab-walking.

It wasn't an MMA match or a boxing match or even a wrestling match.

It was possibly the worst "fight" of all time. Granted Ali didn't want to grapple either but the fact he couldn't hit on the ground rlly made it silly. For instance, Im sure they would have given a TKD or a standing guillotine to Inoki its not like they said you can only grapple from the floor like they told ali you can only hit standing up.

Idk anything about the guy as a pro-wrestler or his athletics cuz I dont watch the stuff but I find it pretty silly when ppl say someone in MMA was one of his disciplines.

Wanderlei put a motherfuckin ass whoopin on him. That was up there with one of the most shocking mma fights. Wand went from 0-60 in an instant

That guy as huge for a Japanese man! I always wondered why the rest of the Japanese were so tiny compared to him

...Because he is bigger than average? I mean Yamamoto was a longtime HW in pride, and he's bigger than Fujita. Also Takayama,Musashi etc.

Fujita stood out more for his physique, that guy was a TANK in his prime.

I had to research this gem for a thread, and I think it is a travesty that most fans now a days do not know the true legend of Kazuyuki Fujita... or rather... its thick skull (no, seriously! That's his nickname!!!)

For those who do not know The Last Disciple of Antonio Inoki (another nickname)... this might give you some insight.

Trust me. You will love it! (or not!! Taste is relative!)

Well worth the read!

Good read.
Really funny in parts, especially the Reem flaming knee.

Inoki made thier main guy thier champion face two guys in MMA. Those two guys Fedor and Cro Cop

His match with Shiozaki was very controversial too.

It was I believe sposed to be more of an open match but Ali's team changed the rules late on to prevent any grappling basically taking away all of Inoki's offence hence what we saw.
