Fighters had to have huge balls.

Open weight tourneys, most with almost no real training, against some real killers... and many got paid almost nothing!!
 
Back when Bobbu Sappu was still "The Beast" and people feared him, Fujita casually wrestled him to the ground, and kicked the shit out of him, pretty literally.

Not submission after almost getting killed and gruelling grappling, not sniper left cross, just outbeasting the beast.

Fujita's comeback against Thompson was amazing. Thompson nails him with two knees to the head and fujita had just had enough of being hit and fuckin snapped, just started beating the fuck out of thompson. Thompson had tried to brawl back but he'd already been hit too much by Fujita and then finally the big right hand to the jaw and put him down. Absolutley gorgeous.

The Overeem/Fujita fight dude brought up was an MMA fight that took place at Dynamite 2009. Reem genuinely put Fujita in a coma.

Who else went from a 205-pounder to a cartoon character freak who cut from 280 before the UFC busted him? If Fujita was on anything (and very few Japanese were), it was probably about 2% of what Overroid was on. But go back to your homoerotic crush...

None of them put on 60-70 pounds of muscle mass in a few years. Brock actually had a frame to support a defensive lineman build. Overeem clearly didn't if you saw him in his younger years.
