serrano said they "made history"...i disagree. they had the OPPORTUNITY to make history, but they turned in a flat performance.

Jake Paul should've been in her corner. This was her last chance at getting Katie...and she blew it... tried to skate by with a decision (which she just revealed was the team's strategy).

Sad. You have this fucking platform... packed crowd. A waste of a special moment.
 
So is ICE waiting for Serrano in the dressing room, or are they positioned just outside MSG?

I actually thought it was pretty smart from Taylor - she just let Serrano hit air until she tried to rush the pocket and would just time the blitz with counters, then take an angle and exit the pocket.

Taylor actually showed good defense and didn’t take any chances because Serrano didn’t make her. She got to sit on the back foot and just time counters because it was so clear when Serrano was just throwing away shots when she wasn’t rushing in.

Basically Serrano’s tactics and strategy created that fight, because it was a bad approach that was easily countered and she never made any adjustments. I can’t even blame Taylor because she was winning without having to adjust, so why adjust?

From Taylor's perspective, I took it as...

"you made me come back for this fight.. you wanted to be treated as the champion for some stupid reason..... you wanted it in your backyard... you wanted this packed crowd........ now perform, pressure is on you" *while I just pop you left and right while circling away! lol*
 
Taylor was better. She timed Serrano effectively with that check left hook.
 
This was hard to watch. Sadly, Serrano blew it. She didn't do much and looked to be very shopworn. Taylor doesn't mind fighting her fight, which is basically a longer amateur boxing contest. But she is so good at that and Serrano couldn't make her pay.

I believe she is the better fighter, but this fight certainly did not show that.
 
Curious to see the round breakdown on the official score cards. Gotta say, I'm pretty surprised they didn't show any Serrano favoritism here, esp in those early rounds like 1 where both landed jack shit.


I thought given Serrano took 9 and 10 off completely with no urgency and boxed among her worst rounds out of the 30 they must have it in the bag by the 8th on the cards and weren't even worried lol.


Weird fight to make in any case, cause not only was it the worst of the trilogy, the card tanked pretty hard for this supposed historic all women's event. There was may be one decent fight in there between Green and Marshall. And it's weird spot for Serrano going forward killing off her value as the backbone for the whole promotion. Katie too tbh, I guess they can build a bit for Taylor vs Cameron 3 now tho.


2 min rounds are trash though, women's fights are alreayd nerfed enough having less KO frequency, such short rounds allow for little momentum buildup in any fight between similarly skilled opponents.

Yeah, absolute garbage sparring session. Unreal these fucking people get paid so much.

To have to sit through 45 minutes of the intros, national anthems, painfully slow walkouts, annoyingly drawn-out fighter introductions just to watch 40 significant strikes landed over 10 rounds is just insane. Fucking fraud sport, and obviously a money laundering scheme.

Yeah that will be the last all women card for a while I think. Take the main event away (which didn't deliver) and what do you actually have?
