Hahaha this was @BroRogan when he found out those soccer poppy stuff players were part time circus de soleil paid actors...
A lot of people complaining.
I think the reasons are vastly different here lolA lot of people complaining. But a lot of people complain against DC, Cruz, Bisping, Rogan and nearly all the other commentators so seems like a good fit. Only person who got any love was Brian Stan.
That's a better way to put it. We've totally regressed as a society and our values. Although I did say there should be representation, I still mean the most knowledgeable are likely men. Very few women have high level technical understanding or want it, yet they want to put so many into the sport. It’s deeper than representation. In the current era, COMPETENCE has been thrown out of the window. That goes for every industry, including politics. People want entertainment, representation, validation, etc…everything except living by the standard of doing things with the highest ability possible. No one is aiming for the best anymore. Just be [controversial/representative] and it will satisfy the demand for [distraction/entertainment/anger/validation] of the masses.

If that increases the overall quality of WMMA then I'm all for it.That's a better way to put it. We've totally regressed as a society and our values. WMMA is fine, but you're putting amateurs in between the pro male fights, there's a wide gap in skills and it's obvious. I don't want the cards to be 50/50 male female unless the WMMA competition pool gets close to the mens. If they eliminated just the amateur looking women, they'd have 5 girls in every division. Which would be like only 5% of fights is wmma.
Yeah for males it's plain to see in the HW division. IDK how many fat slobs that kinda could punch and wrestler I've seen lose in the last 3 years. I will say though, for those fights you can anticipate a KO most of the time, atleast it's possible. For WMMA, it's so rare, so I think that holds WMMA back a little further. If that increases the overall quality of WMMA then I'm all for it.
I like equal opportunity but it does not usually lead to equal outcomes, nor should it.
The UFC could probably do with cutting a decent portion of it's male fighters as well. But WMMA is absolutely more bloated and has a lower overall level of talent
WMMA has a finish rate that's around 10-15% less than men's MMA (I believe; I looked this up a few years ago it may have changed), so there isn't any bias here. Just statistics. And a fight that goes to a decision can still be really fun but KOs and Subs are usually more fun.Yeah for males it's plain to see in the HW division. None of those fighters I have any issue with staying. But you have to admit that when comparing FLW and BW between men and women, there's a power factor that's different. Of course now, I have to admit even champs like Merab or even Yan don't typically bring KO power (Yan's last KO was Faber 2019). I guess mentally I think even Yan who has 8 decisions in a row still can KO anyone, where if I'm watching Blanchfield I just don't think it'll happen. I'm assuming out cold KO's are much more rare in WMMA, and finishes are mostly submissions.WMMA has a finish rate that's around 10-15% less than men's MMA (I believe; I looked this up a few years ago it may have changed), so there isn't any bias here. Which is why my favorite WMMA fighters are those with high finish rates like Nunes, Jess Andrade, Cyborg, Blanchfield, etc. or those with a penchant for getting into bloody wars like Zhang or Irene Aldana.
