Should be an easy victory for Kowalkiewicz, if she loses then goodbye but if she wins then her unbeaten run continues and she might even be hyped for a title challenge.

Karolina's last defeat? By rnc in an amateur mma bout with some chick called Jedrzejczyk.

Not that I don't believe you, but I keep hearing people mention that Amateur bout with JJ, but I never seen any actual proof.

Dang didn't see there was a thread on this otherwise I wouldnt have made one a little bit ago

LOL, this is a rather blatant attempt to showcase Kowalkiewicz! I don't mind it at all though :D

For those who are new, the trick to remember her name is breaking it down to 3 parts: Ko - Walkie - Wicz.

This ones just about padding KK's record for eventual showdown for the belt somewhere down the line.

Yeah, but it doesn't exactly get her any closer to the belt. She'll still need a signature win over a top opponent. Although, maybe not—the ufc is strange these days.

good lord, not a single HD picture of KK in this thread? I'm disappoint.

anyone got PVZ's number? :D

(it's not what you think, Paige... it's worse)

Not really

Letourneau beat Moroz on route to a title shot

Penne beat Markos (Who KK Has already beaten) on route to a title shot

Gadelha beat Aguilar (After ducking Daly) but JAG is arguably very overrated

It's not the worst matchup, but it certainly is pointless, unless they're looking to send Clark on a skid while building up KK.

That's exactly what they're looking to do

Those are all examples of why I think the UFC has been very strange lately.

Here she is, coyly looking at you, sherdogger, whilst listening longingly to the music of lurrrrve, hoping you will notice her, big, brave... wealthy sherdogger.

'I vant brave gentleman sherdogger, with black belts in sherdog postinks'
*I have only a brown belt in sherdog posts :( *
*her face instantly turns to hard stone, she looks disgusted, and walks away with her nose in the air without another word.

They want some HL reel footage for marketing purposes

KK vs. Joanna is the fight they really want to make.

Can't risk her losing, Randa gave her problems.

Im not gonna dump on the matchup with how the division landscape looks. JJ/Gadelha 2 in July and then Torres/Namajunas 2 winner probably is next(unless Gadelha wins then we get a trilogy). I would say Calderwood, Waterson and Lima fights all make more sense, but KK is gonna need 3 wins to get a shot anyways so i dont mind a showcase fight.

Lot of inactive fighters in that division clogging up the rankings, especially the girls JJ has fought recently.

Her last 4 opponents

Gadelha-fought JJ in December 2014, fought Aguilar in August 15' and now another long lay off and she'll fight JJ again in July
Esparza-hasnt fought since she lost to JJ in March of 2015 and has no fight booked
Penne-hasnt fought since she lost to JJ in Berlin in June 2015 and has no fight booked
Letorneau-hasnt fought since loss to JJ in November and no fight booked

Should do Esparza vs Markos, Penne vs Calderwood, Letorneau vs Waterson and PVZ vs Rawlings and Lima vs Daly

I was starting to wonder if Clark was even still on the roster.

Of course the plan was actually for Markos to beat KK and get a title shot

And for Moroz to beat Letourneau and get a title shot :d

Fight makes no sense really...

Good to see Heather coming back though.

KK vs Heather? Really? That's the fight they're giving KK and not Penne or someone like that? What a shame.

Clark is like the lowest tier SW.

Mid tier I'd say, she beat Bec albeit controversially while injured and she sure isn't as helpless as someone like a Chambers.

Those are pretty good but not wanting to see Waterson vs Valerie. Of course if history has taught us anything with Sean Shebly's match making, its shorter asian girl vs the tallest white girl. Thats his fetish.

If you have any idea of their current skill level you should agree. Its a complete mismatch and up there with Mendes vs Cody Mckenzie. Not saying Karolina will finish her inside 1 round because its womens SW after all, but its still a pointless match up and Heather is going to absorb a lot of unnecessary damage while having very small chance to win.

Lol no. Its nowhere near that. Stop the hyperbole. Both of the last two title fights were bigger mismatches.
