Democrat Katie Hobbs to take office as Arizona governor

PHOENIX (AP) — Katie Hobbs takes the oath of office Monday to become Arizona’s 24th governor and the first Democrat to hold the office since 2009.

Power will transfer in a private ceremony at the state Capitol as Hobbs formally takes over from Republican Doug Ducey. A public inauguration for Hobbs and others taking statewide offices is scheduled for Thursday.

i thought it was hilarious when the star witness they brought to the trial was a spokesperson at mike lindell events and he destroyed kari lakes attorneys own argument that they spent the whole day in court building up, and then the next day they brought in one of the cyber ninja's managers just to talk about hearsay. that was their "smoking gun" lol. they grabbed a bunch of clowns from a mike lindell symposium and turned their own trial into a circus.

they dont even expect to win their cases. it must have came as a shocker to kari lake when the judge humored her and allowed her to grace the presence of his courtroom and embarass herself some more. clearly nothing happened, the election fraud fairy doesnt exist, and once again they never even bothered to try to prove shit. its all about putting on a show for the maga muppets so they can spend as little on legal fees as possible and then take all of their donation money and ride off into the sunset.
