Jesse makes good videos. His early stuff on karate was solid and he became even better as his brother ventured deeper into MMA.
A lot of his stuff is about getting you to think about your martial arts. I'd watched this before and I think any seasoned student of the martial arts can get the point about how rule sets and stylistic limitations impact the effectiveness of styles.
Like someone else said "boxing doesn't work"...which is true if you get rid of the ring which forces people to engage the boxer at some point. But in real life? Most of the time, we can simply evade the boxer forever. Or when someone says that their martial art relies on illegal strikes and holds. It's all true. And all irrelevant in the sporting context.
