I hope people bet Usman vs Brady if the fight happens. I loved making $ on Brady last weekend and I'll love it again when he ragdolls Usman if they fight.
I hope you lose your shirt.

He gave Leon and khazmat tough fights and went to decisionNo disrespect to Usman but he's lost his last 3 fights and he wants to fight the current number 1 ranked WW?
My thing is that Usman isn't one win away from a title shot so even if we accept Brady needs one more win Usman makes no sense. Usman is coming off a loss, three in fact. The UFC used to be smart in matching up guys coming off a loss so that one of them gets back on track. Buckley, Sean & Shavkat are all on winning streaks. Their last opponents are a better list for Kamaru. Since Colby and Leon are both former multiple time opponents the best choice is Ian Garry. What's the timeline for that though? Shavkat not getting the next title fight messed things up. He is probably still getting the Belal vs JDM winner since he stayed on the card to fight Garry. Probably get the winner of that in the fall I think.
So Brady wouldn't get a title shot until 2026 and that's in the unlikely scenario UFC lets him sit on this win for the rest of the year. May as well stay somewhat active and fight Usman or Buckley in the meantime.
Why are people acting like fucking Brady is all of a sudden too good for Usman? I think Usman beats him worse than Belal did.
I’m a firm believer in this tune up fights, this part nailed my line of thinking I’ve had for years. If Usman fought Brady even just a few months after Khamzat, id given him a better chance, I still think Usman dangerous and can still put together some wins, but fighting a guy like Brady right now there is a high possibility he gets wrecked. He does need a tune up and his coaches needs to adapt/evolve his fighting style given he’s aging. I don’t really believe too much in the prime this prime that deal when it comes to fighters but being away almost 2 years and not having a tune up fight as someone lower in the rankings would be bad for him. IMO.He hasn't fought in a year and a half
And hasn't won in 3.5 time.
This is not the time to take on the guy just hitting his stride and peaking into potentially championship form
.these guys all think they can take the express lane to the title shot and refuse to admit they are aging,
maybe getting slower and need to find new eays to win that arent based on athleticism and phyiscal doninance
Being too stubborn to admit it is time for a tune up is why guys go from dominant win streaks to down slide losing streaks.
It's tune up time.
Mma in general could learn from boxing about tune up fights.I’m a firm believer in this tune up fights, this part nailed my line of thinking I’ve had for years. More fighters need to adopt fighting power end ranking fighters when you been at the top after few losses to see where their head and skills are at, constantly fighting S class opponents back to back will only make the downfal quicker.
Where did you get the idea Shavkat let JDM take his TS? Shavkat has an injury my guy.I wouldn't mind if Brady got the leap frog over shavkat, shavkat had his chance and let JDM take his shot, Brady's win was more decisive and against a better fighter (on paper). In regards to what they have done lately could be argued it's Brady
Yes, that injury is letting JDM take his TS.Where did you get the idea Shavkat let JDM take his TS? Shavkat has an injury my guy.
I mean technically yes but the way you're wording it makes it sounds as if it was due to his own fault and not an unfortunate mishap he didn't have control over. Shavkat stayed on 310 after Belal pulled out and took a risky last minute fight against Ian which saved an already crumbling card. I highly doubt the UFC is going to leap frog Brady over Shavkat because of that not to mention the fact of Belal having already finished Sean a little while back.Yes, that injury is letting JDM take his TS.
He shouldn't be surprised if he doesn't get the next one.

I don't know about "nothing" is promised now days. Jiri and Jamahal vacated and were promised a TS upon their return and got it. Dana said winner of Belal vs Gilbert would get a TS and Belal got it after beating Burns. Dana said Sean would get his rematch with DDP after DDP fights Izzy and he got it. I'm not saying Dana and the UFC do not go against their word, they certainly do but as of more recently they are delivering on their word more than they aren't. I'm not even trying to be a UFC defender. Just telling it how it is.Regardless, the result will be the same. nothing in the UFC is promised. Even if it was literally promised directly to you.
I understand but for example regarding the CURRENT situation revolving around shavkat, IF islam wins his next fight and expresses interest in moving up for a title shot, you think they will deny him? no of course not, he now must fight again.
