Kamaru Usman says Colby Covington: “...in the top-15 welterweights of all time”

I hate the guy cause of his politics but like with Gus or Thiago Santos the loss to the champ does more for his resume than any of his wins. What you're saying about his wins has merit the 2 rounds against Marty just make it irelevant. Also the Woodley win is underrated cause 3 of Woodley's 4 losses came to guys no one else can beat and the 4th loss was a fight he could have won.

Marty, Colby and Burns are the top 3 WW's all time IMO and if you think that's stupid please explain to me who else beats them. The Burns part is highly based on me thinking Hooker could be LW champ right now with a little more luck and thus there being no shame in losing to him. With Colby though the only finish to justify is a close fight against someone whose probably already the second or third best fighter of all time.

The point of resume is to prove how good you are. Usually you need a long one to do that but if you are competitive with an all time great their resume helps too.

It doesn't matter what happened first. What matters is how you tried to make it one sided in favor of your Hero Colby and it made you look foolish.

nah, beating RDA is extremely impressive and he's had a bunch of good wins aside from that. He's not my favorite and maybe not someone I'd place in the GOAT list of anything at WW, but he's most certainly accomplished a decent amount. One of the better UFC WW's to never win gold.

What’s even more foolish is you thinking Colby is my hero. Colby is scum!!! And off the worst kind he’s race baiting, with a wwe inspired gimmick.

Unfortunately sequences matter and after usman took the cheap way out of using unethical means it became fair gane for Colby too. Wipe that usman jizz off your eyes and watch that fight again. Usman faked a nut when hurt and on verge of being finished. It’s a fact!

Colby is good but his resume isnt all that great especially when you take into account that pretty much every name he beat was out of their prime by that point.

In terms of fighting ability, he’s even higher than that. He would melt down fighters of previous generations with his pace and wrestling. He’s only behind Usman and GSP as a WW fighter
 
What does top 15 in one single weight class after less than 30 years of UFC mean?

There's GSP, Hughes, Penn, Hendricks, Usman, Robbie, Woodley, Fitch, Shields, Rory, Koscheck, Condit...and that's already scraping the bucket.

Welterweight is in a weird spot, half of it is old men, some of that is former lightweights, some that avoided big fights...

Regardless, I think he should say this about his opponent. I hope Usman wins again, in brutal fashion.
