As for 'Kamal will carry the black vote' yes, no one has said otherwise. But given the polls amongst the black community for Trump having a significant improvement over 2020, or 2016, or any Republican nominee in modern political history it seems like a weak point for the Democrats are afraid will lead to increased electoral votes for Trump on election day.

Interesting fact - There were several polls amongst the black community between Trump/Biden that had Trump having 20+%. There has been no polls since Biden dropping out and Harris entering the race.

Correct, because they're not picking from a complete pool of qualified candidates. They're only considering maybe 5% of all candidates. you're very unlikely to get the most qualified candidate of that limited pool.

Republicans have nothing to stand on with Trump as their guy, he can't even follow the law to a T like your average Joe. Trump, sure as hell, can't describe policy or anything in detail. The only thing that they can run with is this weird DEI thing. That they love to use whenever convenient as well like remember how much the republicans were boasting about how diverse Trump's cabinet was? So it is a two party thing, Republicans are just pretending to be bitter about it now because Trump is a sinking ship with literally nothing left to stand on beyond fear mongering about "wokeness".

I mean sure? But, its not like Trump sounds intelligent talking about anything either so it would be a weird angle to take. You can say that they are both trash. I don't think Kamala is all that awesome but I'm voting for her because she'll just do basic democrat type stuff that aligns better with my views like reinstalling Roe V. Wade, affordable healthcare (the cap on insulin was a big success), and ofcourse agreeing on the existence of climate change.

It is also a matter of basic morals too. Enabling a rapist that can't abide by the law and tried to coupe an election to be the face of my country is an insult to how I was brought up. Rape is one crime that I just can't excuse at all.....
