Elections Kamala Harris for POTUS

I really hope trump goes with this. I think itll be a good idea.

No, you don't.
You just wish he would.
He's trying to win over as many women as he can, and the most sexist he's been was making comments about the face of... whatsherface... in the 2016 primaries.

I'm sure you haven't noticed but he's been much smarter about his talking points about his opponent since 2016 & 2020.

She's a ultimately a weak candidate but makes a far better case than going up against Trump than Bro Biden.

oh i truly do. Vance should get involved too.

Can you imagine Kamala meeting with Putin, Xi or Kim lol. Do ye think they'd have any respect for her? They only respect strength, not Wine Aunty BRATs.

Say what you will about Trump but nobody was kicking off under his rule.

LMAO. Do you think they have any real respect for Trump, given his constant fawning for them? To them he's just a useful idiot remember when that dolt suggested a joint cybersecurity partnership between America and Russia in front of international media and this at the height of the Russian interference scandal.

bless your heart

It's also a weird way to talk about a long-term relationship. Like, any healthy relationship involves oral sex, but it was a relationship. You also see people talk about him being married, as if it was an illicit affair. He had been separated from his wife for over a decade, and it wasn't a secret relationship.
Take the Oral out, that was just a joke. Do you think it's on the level to appoint someone to high positions in government that you are sleeping with? A 29 year old Harris did "date" former San Francisco Mayor and State Assembly Speaker Willie Brown who was 60, for a period of time between 1994 to 1995. In his capacity as speaker, Brown appointed her to two political posts — first to the California Unemployment Insurance Appeals Board, and then to the Medical Assistance Commission. She would not be here today if not for those appointments that started her career. She was a young somewhat attractive women "dating" an old man that may have been estranged from a wife, but was not divorced. All of this is verified as true. Take the oral out, she slept her way to her job, is that better?

Respect isn't needed when there is fear. Trump is a billionaire businessman that knows how to do deals and deal with powerful people. He may be an asshole but he gets his way. Kamala cackles and giggles like a school girl. She lost 1st in the primaries...why? She got killed because she has no idea about policy and had no platform besides abortion. She can't sleep with Putin or Xi or Kim like she did Willie Brown. And they don't care about her diversity lmao.

Lolwut? Trump literally said like a month ago to randos at his golf course that Biden was out and it was going to be Harris, and that was even better because "she's so bad". Everybody else knew Biden wasn't going to make it to November, and you guys were the only ones who had to pretend otherwise. Why do you think Joe's own party threw him into a debate almost 2 months before they even have their convention?

These people are legit retarded, just buying into whatever they are told. They also probably thought Biden was going to kick Trump’s ass in the debate and that he was cognitively OK. It is the same media that is saying Biden was sharp as a tact, that is also saying Trump's campaign is SHOOK, Kamala is a Gen Z rock star, blah blah, also same media that is literally trying to scrub their records of previous reporting of Kamala.

Fact is Trump has been predicting Biden wouldn’t be the nominee for OVER a year.

December 2023. And he has said it several times earlier at his rallies and interviews. I even made a bet on here in June 2023 that Biden wouldn’t be the nominee, as Trump and the MAGA cult will calling it already over a year ago

The same media was literally saying less than a month ago that Biden's age is his best asset as president, to literally on the day he dropped out, changing it to "how age is bad for presidents and especially Trump"

Anyone who falls for any of these narratives at this point, is a fucking idiot

Obviously I wouldn't want a president speaking like that and note that at that level its pretty much all comes from one side. But average Americans and content creators should feel free to engage in boisterous and even offensive language within the confines of our democratic norms. Violating those norms, the way Trump and his movement have, is to me a far greater threat to our democratic way of life and largely responsible for ratcheting up the tensions.
Funny that it is the left spray painting "fuck Israel" right now on monuments and destroying property and burning flags. My buddy is a cop in DC and has videos of pink haired liberal white women screaming "Gas the Jews". It was Biden who used language and went tabloid during the debate mentioning prostitutes. Trump didn't bring up anything like that when he had the ammo--like Ashleys Diary. You can keep pointing fingers at the right, but the biggest threat right now are the progressive left.

LMAO, Trump is a pretend-made-for-TV fraud strongman who is laughed at behind his back and once right to his face while addressing a conference of world leaders. The only people buying his act are you cult lot. I've suddenly become keenly aware of your screen name, which makes sense.

Yes, they're most definitely on to something.

I don't she was more unpopular than Biden many people will not vote for her due to what she did as a prosecutor and what's been happening at border with illegals getting preferential treatment.

And neither of those would have happened if not for blowing Willie Brown.

Blowing a guy to get ahead seems like inherently more work than getting 400m from your dad to get ahead.

Bet you don't know she narrowly won that seat over a Republican in CALIFORNIA.

Who are you talking about here? She beat Loretta Sanchez, a democrat, by 23 points in 2016 right?

Unless you are saying "Well Sanchez was a Republican in 1992" which would mean we would consider Trump a Democrat, so that doesn't make any sense.

edit - nvm im retarded you said the AG seat, my bad homie, but ill leave it up for the shame

although not sure how split along party lines AG races usually are

I've always found this argument that "Well, Putin wouldn't of done this under Trump" to be a weak and pointless argument. You're basically saying because Trump is so unpredictable that that gives monsters like Putin pause---that we should consider the thinking process of Putin when choosing our leader at home.
Choosing our leaders based on how much or little the shittiest people in the world respect or fear them doesn't sound like a great strategy.

As a super power, we have options. If they want to fuck around, that's on them, but the United States is the United States no matter who is in charge.

Yes I think a candidate's foreign policy should be a factor when selecting a president. It maybe be the only area where they pretty much have complete control over so an important consideration when voting. What happens abroad very much effects what happens at home when you are spending hundreds of billions funding forever wars.

Sure. That's a great talking point for Kamala's campaign staffers to use.

Ah, I was actually referring to 2010 Attorney General election.

Harris (D)- 46.1%
Cooley (R) - 45.3%

Thank you for calling that out and I double-checked.

We can play this game with anyone's 30 year political career if we wanted to. Would this be much different if they had just been friends and Brown appointed her to the position? Do you think that these positions are completely devoid of personal connections by the appointees ? It'd be fair game to criticize the choosing process as a whole, but putting people close to you in positions isn't new, and people with various types of relationships do it.

This was in 1994. It is now 2024. When it comes to this DEI talk and the "she slept her way into her job" stuff, these arguments would hold more weight if she had been proven incompetent a few months into doing those jobs. We are 30 years later, and people are still talking about a 1 year relationship she had as if she's' done nothing in her career since those appointments decades ago.
