Elections Kamala Harris for POTUS

The Los Angeles Times, which is California’s largest newspaper, reportedly will not make an endorsement in the 2024 presidential race — a blow to Vice President Kamala Harris as the outlet has backed a Democrat in every White House race since 2008.

Not really surprising at all if you consider that a Billionaire is looking out for another Billionaire.

LA Times owner Dr. Patrick Soon-Shiong reportedly made the decision not to issue endorsements for this year's presidential election

"The billionaire owner of the Los Angeles Times has reportedly blocked its editorial board from endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris for president.

Members of the editorial board were all set to endorse Harris for the most powerful position in America, but earlier this month, executive editor Terry Tang told staff members the paper would not be endorsing a candidate for president, two people familiar with the conversations told Semafor.

She reportedly said the decision came straight from the paper's owner, Dr. Patrick Soon-Shiong, a doctor who made his fortune in the healthcare industry.

The decision marks a major departure for Harris' home state newspaper, which has exclusively endorsed Democratic presidential candidates since then-Senator Barack Obama ran in 2008.

Editors did not give a reason for the change when the paper published its statewide and national endorsements last week."

Awww, I guess he's not "your" billionaire. Didn't your overlords tell you Soon-Shiong bought the LA Times in 2018 and HAPPILY endorsed Biden in 2020?

According to the part of the article below, they've exclusively endorsed Democratic presidential candidates since Obama. Which means they endorsed Trump's opponents in 2016 and 2020.

You left this out

Not seeing any named sources, as usual.

Will listen after work bud. The polls are crazy as we talked. Let me listen and report back.
Cool, man. After all, opinions are like asseholes, everybody has one. Guess we'll find out soon enough but all things considered the purported level of support for Trump really doesn't make any sense whatsoever to an outside observer, in a nutshell.

Between the abortion situation and all the personal attacks on VP Harris, I'd bet a nickel that even a great many women who normally vote faithfully for Republicans will either stay home on election day or vote for Harris--though they'd never dare admit it for fear of the reaction.

Anyway, I'm basically summarising at this point. I'll leave it to you to from here to judge the guy's spiel for yourself.

Catch you later.

Now, it's over 13 minutes long and I likely won't watch the whole thing myself even, but the first few minutes ought to give you a good idea where my own thoughts are coming from (independently, that is, not that I ever heard of this guy before today).
You think geniuses like yourself just grow on trees and get plucked from the ground, eh Mandy?

It's called "Confirmation Bias" You all consume the same garbage and barf up the same narratives.

It's quite common for someone on YouTube to be entirely full of shit and then find some random misfit on the interwebs such as yourself sharing the same viewpoints.

You are stuck in a processed, pre-programmed hivemind, fully loaded with lots of Trump loathing saccharin. You can't help but gravitate towards it.

Both sides do that brotha. I never mind listening to another side. These stupid algorithms feed you the same type crap over and over. But occasionally someone on the other side makes a good point even if bias overall. I cant ever expect the other side to listen to me if I dont listen is typically how I roll.

I had to "show ignored content" to see this but once I did, I felt the need to address it. I literally lol'd @ this bullshit.

First of all, you didn't even understand what I wrote, because I stated outright the guy apparently agrees with me in broad detail on a position @Cajun and I were discussing elsewhere--and that's the point, in fact--and rather than go into a bunch of detail about my opinion, I told Cajun if he were to watch the first few minutes of the video, he'd get a clearer picture of why I think the polls in this election cycle can't be trusted and why I think Harris will win by a clear margin. That's just my opinion and I'm ready to be proved wrong come election time. It's a pure coincidence that shortly after we talked about it someone posted that video and I happened to see it and it just came in handy. In what way is this a display of bias of any kind?

And how in the actual fuck can I have confirmation bias toward something I concluded from my own observations and reasoning before I ever saw the fucking video? Talk about stupid. Honest to fuck, you should punch yourself in the face for such idiocy.
